Brother Martin not only do I want the secrets but I need the secrets. I’ve started a container garden because of you. I was in love with your rooftop garden. It appeared to be paradise. When you moved and or took down the channel I stopped visiting RUclips for container gardening advise. I don’t have any citrus. But I have a Santa Rosa plum ( because of you) pomegranate, blue berries, black berries and two concord grapevines in boxes attached to a pergola like yours. All of my containers fruit trees produce sweet good fruit. The grapes were soooo sweet you could smell them. However my trees leaves start out looking like yours but I can not keep them as beautiful and green like yours. Even though they are producing fruit ! I was given a cocktail plant this year as a gift. I up potted, removed the blooms and fruit, leaves are looking good now. Will see what happens next year. Thank you for all that you do. I have benefitted from your knowledge and teachings.
Hi Martine, I’m watching you for 7-8 year , from roof garden, I think even before you move to this condo. I don’t watching nobody else. I always worry when you not on u-tube. I have one Mayer’s lemon in whisky barrel, doing pretty good, but I lost tree, Myers lemon, cumquat and recently variegated lemon. I think I just over watering all. I leave in condo ,no yard. Martine Efi here, from Italia! I am watching you from rooftop terrace. I was searching about hybrid teas roses information for my terrace and I found your Channel! I got many information and you got me inspired to buy citrus! I was living in nothern part of Italy near the sea. Zone 9 you can say. My rooftop terrace had north cold winds which almost killed my citrus; they Lost their leaves and never set fruits. So number one factor for me clima! Even the same zone! Citrus can’t grow in all zone 9! Some people have to deal with that! It’s not your fault but the area some live it’s not Suitable for growing citrus trees!! I had cold Windy dry clima! Not many frosts but again cold wind.
I just found you and I'm so excited to try it. Kum quat is my favorite of ALL the citrus . NO, I love you, Where can I get that humongous container and what kind of soil you use. I have made notes, step by step, watched it 3 times to make sure I get everything right. I live in Texas and the winters kill everything. Can you show us how we can protect them for winter. I joke everyday about how our phones listen to us and push ads. Well this is the one time (and only) I’m happy about it doing so. See, I’m about to move to Mississippi and my yard will have enough acreage to start a garden. I’m from the city, but my grandma (mother’s side) and my grandad (fathers side) had a hand in growing me up in the ways of what city folk here call “the county”. Gardening, fishing, animals, all that. Back to what I was saying... since I knew we would have a grand yard, I just asked my bf, who was on the phone with his farmer friend, if it was possible to grow citrus in this part of the US. I asked because I was amazed when I went to a friends house in Culver City ca, that he had a lemon tree growing right outside his back door. Needless to say they told me no. I’ve personally only know folks here to have peach, pear, pecan etc around here including in my yard. Never searched for this info in my phone, and RUclips recommends your video about an hr ago and I am so thankful for it. I’m extremely excited. I’m new here and I will definitely watch all of your videos. I’m already 4 vids in but I had to respond to you asking how long we have been watching you.

You can too grow citrus and other fruits and vegetables in Mississippi. Grow the fruit trees and such in the grough that does well. But all else please grow them in large containers. Just to add this is really weird because all this week I have stood at my one orange and one lime tree who have never produced in five years and thought....I’m done with them. I felt like I’m just not a good gardener and didn’t feel like doing it anymore. My orange tree was full of flowers three weeks ago...full! Then over a few nights all the tiny oranges and the stalks fell off. Now there’s like three little balls left. Anyway just weird how ur video popped up when I have been so sad over my citrus trees.

I would love the 2 new secrets to help citrus trees grow! I have a 5-year-old Meyer's Lemon that I brought in through the winter in front of a window. The spider mites attacked it and it has lost almost all of its leaves. It has been such a large producer of lemons in the past. I also need to graft a branch that has grown large near the bottom to make it look more like a strong tree instead of a bush. I have sprayed it with Neem Oil once. I pray you can tell me something that I can do to make it grow now that it seems to be in shock. I've watched your videos about notching trees and I would love to do it but I think I need to take care of saving my tree first. God has blessed me by leading me to your videos and knowledge.
I'm just getting started. I have a grapefruit tree and an orange tree this is my first year and I'm a new gardener in lower Alabama. The weather has been crazy this year and I've put my trees in the ground thinking of digging them up and putting them in containers.

Here in the Bahamas we have alot of hurricanes and your methods and teachings makes it possible to survive the hurricane by keeping fruit and citrus trees in containers and able to move them to higher ground should a storm come.

Well, I’m very new to your channel just discovered it about two weeks ago when I decided to start gardening and it has blessed me so much to see a man of color out here in the Gardening world where I live you don’t see that much and I am striving to not only garden for myself, but to teach my kids about Gardening. I also am blessed with you use scriptures in the word of God and tie everything back to him and if I’m being 100% honest the first thing I thought when I watched this video was what are those two things I keep saying in these other videos that you have here is secret amendments because I’ve been a Binge watching your videos as of late I know it was three years ago that she posted this but I pray that you’re feeling blessed because you are and your highly favored by the Lord and I wish you much success and yes, please do depose those two increase amendments as I just got my first kumquat tree in the mail and I’m in California. Brand new to channel and bought a moro blood orange tree really for blooms that attract pollinators. Its in a 3 gallon pot can I pot it up to a 20 gallon by chance? Grow bag. No clue what ur 2 ingredients are but is it hard boiled egg and coffee grounds by chance?
5 to 10 g for now until the tree matures. No grow bags, they are not made for longterm of growing trees. who uses boiled eggs and coffee grounds in there citrus soil? Wrong advice

It’s been two weeks since I’ve started watching videos for citrus. 12/20/2020 Been wanting to grow Moro blood oranges. Bought two trees, three days ago. In what look like 2.5 or 3 gal. Containers . Is there anything special about them like needing different soil layers? I.e crushed lava rocks. Thank you for the great videos.

I’m slow catching up with you but I’m encouraged and know that it is possible for me to have healthy great producing citrus trees in containers in my small backyard. Hello Elder, I really appreciate all your videos. I have been struggling along with a lemon tree for three years. Every time I get it going something happens 🙄 Still hoping for some of your success to come to me. Could you give me some tips on pruning? I have three to four branches coming out of the same node in several places. Is that okay?
Hi, Thanks for allowing me to answer your question. When it comes to pruning, you want to prune branches that grow inside the canopy, straight down or sprouts that grow straight up. Any branching that rubs against other branches is a no no also. Hope this helps
I’ve been with you since of early this spring and I’ve since purchased 5 new citrus plants two Myer lemon 🍋 1 one mandarin 1 one kumquat and 1 one cara cara navel 🍊 . I give credit to whoever gave me inspiration to do what I now find passion in and first and foremost, my lord and father. Secondly to you elder yahudah .
