I buried my wife two weeks ago after 2 years of cancer. We prayed. We hoped for a miracle. There was no doubt in our minds He could heal her. But He didn't. This hurts like crazy, but I will worship the God Who's ways are higher than mine. The God that loves me. The God who was by our side through it all. The Lord gives and Lord takes away. Blessed is the name of our God. Oh, by the way, this song was on high rotation in my car when the album came out. Great depth and theologically sound lyrics here...

My deepest condolences on your loss. I’m so glad that you’ve kept your faith through such a difficult time. I’ve come to learn that life is short. But eternity is forever. And for those of us who love and serve the Lord, we will be with Him and with our loved ones forever. I know you will face days of hurt and long to see your wife. And one day you will again see your wife and you will both be together without anymore hurt or sorrow or worry. And you will both be together in God’s glory.

Love this song. I’am an older man and work with men younger than my own children. Every night when I come home. It feels like I have just finished a 9 hour battle and barely made it out. I read my Bible, say my prayers thanking God for all He does and the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Every night as I sleep , with every second I adjust my pillow or move around, I thank God for what I have. He heals me each and every night. Then He watches over my days. I have had some close calls , but have been stopped in my tracks before any harm happens. This is not luck I don’t believe in luck . This is what God does. He does it for all ….
What a life........now, at 79, sometimes I wonder why God puts up with me. He placed HIS hand on me at 19, at an ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH and I've been HIS ever since then. HE has never let go of me. I have HIM in my heart always. I know my ONLY way, is to trust HIM. So now I wait. My time is short and in a way I'm glad. To be with him and my family is a beautiful vision ahead of me.
My Friends Daughter died and few months later my son From Cancer. He is with Jesus and so is my friend's daughter.
To all the beautiful saints of God, who are not offended when stuff happens. Not angry with God, totally surrendered! You are awesome. ❤
We lost our 4th child at 2 months old. He just suddenly died. We prayed and hoped that he would make it. But he didn't. After Zane passed, I told God whatever he wanted from me, I would do it. Even though it hurts loosing him, and I don't understand it, I am keeping my faith and confidence in him....in time God will bring a miracle out of the pain. #babyzanelives

@@Lilytran109 I am doing good...Months after Zane died, I had a 6wk miscarriage. Broke me. Finally in 2020, I gave birth to my rainbow child a girl. 2022, I gave birth to my first son after loosing Zane. And just 2wks ago I gave birth to another son. God gave me back triple! They will never replace Zane- but his memory lives on through them! Was worth the wait!

Rom 12: surrender! God is God and He answers to no one! He loves, He has mercy! Trusting and believing He is sovereign is our Sabbath rest!

One of my favourite Christian songs.. always leaves me in tears
I have found love for someone who loves someone else and I have decided to wait for him it has been 8 moths so far. I have prayed to God about it almost every day and I sometimes get scared or start to feel doubt, but God keeps telling me to stay strong and keep waiting. For something will happen, a miracle will happen. So I am trying my best to stay strong. 😔 Even though I am scared and don’t know where to go I have trust in God and I am letting him take the wheel. This song really speaks to me and it really relates to the way I feel and gives me hope and reminds me to keep my head up and stay strong. 😌

I was dating a woman from New York. I loved her but she was undecided. It went on for three years Milwaukee to New York when one day she pulled the plug on us. I was ready to move and deepen our relationship but everything fell apart. I asked God why and had no answers. I kept singing this song, many times when I no idea why. I knew things happen for a reason, but it didn't help me. Now some months I still sing this song, knowing God is still in charge even though I have no answers.

There were times when she would tell our pastor that I did not sign up for all ofthese problems. I always reminded my wife this simply was not true. I married my wife for life. She passed away in December of 2016. I say all this to let you know I will talk to you if you're at all interested. I don't walk away from problems. Also, I can tell you about other good music if you want me to do so. I also want you to know I'm typing this for you even though my baseball game has probably started.
