Anil Kumble also captained the team at one point. It can not be denied that Jasprit Bumrah might lead the team in any one format. Bowlers are more injury-prone and are rested from time to time to preserve their strength, which is why bowlers are less frequently made captains.

What I believe......making THE LEGENDARY Rahul Dravid the coach of Indian team might have been the finest decision in the last 10 years. As a former cricketer, Dravid is considered one of the all-time greats, and his stature commands respect among all team members. His impact creates a tremendous atmosphere in the Indian dressing room. Take the example of Hardik Pandya, who was different just 15-20 days ago but now, he looks transformed since joining the Indian dressing room. Whether as a coach for U19 or the Indian team, Rahul Dravid's work has been such that India will benefit greatly in the next 10 years.

The people who don't know cricket run pakistan cricket. It's OK, but what about the Great Imran khan & Rameez Raja, who together, I think destroyed whatever was left of Pak cricket. One just dismantled all sponsored teams & robbed many young cricketers of their livelyhood & the other, whom the Ist appointment Chairman, just almost destroyed whatever little 1st class cricket was left. He said once that "We need to bring the T20 batting into the Test matches." Strange. If any foreign coach had done it, it would've been called a foreign agenda.
