Thanks for the great upload. I just ordered this light also mostly because I like the dome and casing. I also have an acebeam uc15 nitchia that only weighs 2 oz and produces a 750 lumen strobe for about 2 hrs without lumen reduction. It has (2) 320 mah batteries. I recommend everyone check it out also. Thanks again. It looks great!

Thanks for the comment! I knew Acebeam makes some super bright flashlights, but never thought to check out their smaller ones for use on a drone. I like that it has a slim profile. I will have to check it out and maybe make another demo vid with it. Thanks for the suggestion!

MnP40c I’ve had the nitchia high CRI model for about a month and I absolutely love it. I just ordered the CREE 1000 lumen model also, although the 750 lumen nitchia produces more candela and a nicer temperature color. It also has a 250 lumen red Cree LED and a nitchia UV driver. With batteries and clip it weighs 58 grams.
I’m hoping the UC15’s will give me a really long distance daytime line of sight so I’m FAA compliant flying FPV far away. The next challenge is lighting for orientation at long distance. The FAA opted out on specific navigation lighting requirements for UAV’s. They only stipulate that you must have lighting to indicate aircraft orientation at all times. So my goal is to produce maximum lumens at minimum weight.
I’d love to hear your thoughts. Oh and if you decide on the uc15, there’s a red cree model on amazon with acebeam batteries right now for $49.99 which is $14 cheaper than everywhere else. Thanks again

Lol it's a repurposed mp3 player housing. Save your money and get the Firehouse Arc V.

Thanks. Been looking for one and I saw it on amazon also. One note though. That brings your mini above the 250 grams.

Thanks man, hope the vid helped. I'm still working on my video editing skills haha. Yeah, unfortunately it does put it above 249. So far I've only used it in the country when taking vids at dusk or dawn.

I agree, I've gotta work on my youtube editing...have to balance the sound better and chose some better intro music 😁
