Lennox is an all time great. He looks great and good to see and hear him so well. I not only remember the Rachman rematch but can still hear that finishing left hook. Rachmans ancestors felt it.

Lewis was saved by the judges, and the fight should have been stopped if Vitali had agreed to it. Let's move past that point. Lewis was mandated and had time to prepare for Vitali but opted to retire instead. Vitali would have knocked him out in the rematch as he knew he would lose against Vitali. Other than that, Usyk would school Lewis without any problems. Usyk is by far more skilled fighter, has better chin and conditioning, and is by far more skillful than Lewis.

They where the 90's equelemt of 70's HW era; Mohammad ALi, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Ken Norton & Larry Holmes". The 90's also had of course George Foreman, Michael Moorer, Tommy Morrison, Ray Mercer, Oliver McCall and Bruce Seldon up there, but they where marketed as below "The Great Four", with George Foreman iconic and popular but not regarded the same top pillar in his 2nd comeback. Lennox Lewis cleaned the house in his era. He defeated EVREY MAN he ever face in his professional career with rematches, and even if it was "freak-losses", he avenged both with proving true dominance including interests over his former conquerors. - 13 recognized world champions under his belt, - 3-time World Heavyweight Champion (2 was Lineal and undisputed) and - Olympic super heavyweight gold medalist and competed in 2 Olympic games! His wide arsenal of punches, dangerous power, superior body strenght and ring IQ made him the best-of-the-best of his era!

Lewis said Tyson was a beast, but Tyson have also said that the strenght Lewis had combined with his athletic abilities was what made him early on concerned that while he was very good early, he knew Lewis with time would become great. Lewis had something special according to him. However with Riddick Bowe, that I have more doubts. Bowe never wanted to fight Lewis again after the Olympics, reason he dumped the WBC belt in a trash can after Lewis had after a BS negtiation long period accepted a weak pay-deal to accept Bowe's offer. Bowe never had the same killer instinct as Lewis. Bowe was tallented but also more bark then bite. And in 1996-1997 they was finally going to fight each-other, but Bowe messed up bad back-toback against Andrew Golota (Who Lewis smashed to pieces in 1st round). Bowe had to go wars with Holyfield, while Lewis could out-box Holyfield from distance = making it very hard for Holyfield to go warrior. Bowe became as PRO more warrior style of fighting rather then box, and while he was good at inside boxing, so was Lewis but he would never been able to beat Lewis like that as he would been tagged with big rights from distance - just like Lewis bombed Ruddock and had Tucker twice down. And another thing people forget with Lewis is he was a collected man in the ring, but inside a lion and if you was nasty against him, you would in the ring pay for that with interest - Bowe was one of few men who had got under that skin and Lewis would been a wild lion on Bowe as soon he smelled blood! Interesting, can't say I have heard many people score the 2nd fight for Holyfield. It was a better fight for Holyfield, sure he adapted from the beat he got in the 1st fight where Lewis had controlled the whole fight - and yet they robbed him in a historical bad way.... I still had Lewis as the winner in the 2nd fight - And I was at that time myself a Holyfield fan (!)

Also did he really avenge the McCall loss? McCall was a broken man, walking round the ring crying. It wasn’t really a fight. Not Lewis’s fault of course, you can only beat the man in front of you, but there’s an asterisk there in my opinion.
TKO defeat to McCall, flash knockdown, up at the count of six, tottered back, count of nine gloves up signalling ok to fight on, referee flashed his hands across Lenox's face and stopped the fight. Don King promotion, total robbery.

I've written and been published on boxing in Asia and KNEW he was the future of British boxing. Only two people were supporting Lennox. Everyone was so PRO FRANK BRUNO, but I just knew he was going to rule the division. I was lucky to get out of there, TBH.
Dubois was a man possessed, even I didn't expect him to perform like that because he's been so...well....robotic in his stance and punches previously. If he used that aggression and footwork earlier in his career he'd be a massive name right now. But I get that he was cautious early in his career looking to perfect his trade, I do get that. He destroys Joshua in the rematch. Antony doesn't have the mental fortitude to win that. Some fighters get angry and more determined after a loss but AJ rematches for his ego, from his heart.

Lenox got better as he got older, he batterd hollyfield and got robbed with a draw, then batterd him again, lenox was untouchable at that stage!!! Lenox by far our best heavyweight, followed fury in a very very close second!!! If fury does uysk in rematch then ppl can argue,,, untill then lenox is our no1, his era was the big boys!!!
Lennox would have definitely beaten the champions of this era. I think Usyk would have provided the most difficult challenge, given his silky skills and incredible ring IQ. However, I do acknowledge that comparing era's is not easy. Everyone thinks their era is the best, or one of the best, and that is why the fans can only truly decide which era is best. For me, the best era for the heavyweights is during the 60's/ 70's, followed by the Mike Tyson/ Lennox/ Holyfield era. One weight = One champion please!!!!!!!!!

The 90s heavyweights were miles better than the heavyweights in this last decade. I dont think any of the heavyweights in this day and over the last 10years, wouldnt have lasted, 5 minutes against the heavyweights of the 90s.

Lenox got better as he got older, he batterd hollyfield and got robbed with a draw, then batterd him again, lenox was untouchable at that stage!!! Lenox by far our best heavyweight, followed fury in a very very close second!!! If fury does uysk in rematch then ppl can argue,,, untill then lenox is our no1, his era was the big boys!!!

Lennox would have definitely beaten the champions of this era. I think Usyk would have provided the most difficult challenge, given his silky skills and incredible ring IQ. However, I do acknowledge that comparing era's is not easy. Everyone thinks their era is the best, or one of the best, and that is why the fans can only truly decide which era is best. For me, the best era for the heavyweights is during the 60's/ 70's, followed by the Mike Tyson/ Lennox/ Holyfield era. One weight = One champion please!!!!!!!!!

The 90s heavyweights were miles better than the heavyweights in this last decade. I dont think any of the heavyweights in this day and over the last 10years, wouldnt have lasted, 5 minutes against the heavyweights of the 90s.
