From what I remember the game was poor but the atmosphere was awesome. The playoff semis against colchester was something else, absolutely amazing game and atmosphere at Home Park, I get goosebumps thinking of it now. So glad I was there.

The referee, Scarborough's Billy Burns, worked for me. Sadly, he passed away last year. A great referee for many years.

If I remember rightly argyle sold about 40k and Darlington sold under 20k

43,431 was the official attendance with argyle selling their full allocation of 35,000 and the remainder being corporate seats and Darlington. I remember a sea of green with a small banner of black on the end!

Wtf are you on about? Argyle have consistently pulled way more than the average for the division they’re in. Are you seriously whining that argyle don’t pull in 35,000 every week in the fourth division? And that’s before we mention argyle fans clock up more miles x fans than pretty much everyone in the the bottom two divisions. I get the impression you’d also be the first to whine if those so called ‘glory fans’ hadn’t of turned up and only 10,000 had bothered.
