I have some significant buyers remorse on my impulse purchase of this car. Mine is the 2023 350 F Sport. It is slooow off the line, a bit too loud (they pump fake engine noise into the cabin like others), road noise with run flats, too much wind noise. Seats are a tad tight but are ok. I got the car for it being a Toyota product. I might not have been thrilled with a GV70 but I would have likely gotten that instead. Better handling, etc. Oh, lest I forget…a year into this trim and there is still no tow hitch for the F Sport. Monroney says I can tow 2,000 lbs. With what? Bungee cords? Bait and switch
One of the biggest things for me is that the screen is now further down and as someone who is short i like that it moved as most cars now have it on top of dash as well as the old model so this makes me feel a little more safe especially with my height and that not on my dash.
1. Reverse h-pattern shifter was better in the CT200h. 2. Button actuated door results in a dual action open - finger tip squeeze then pull rather than single pull. 3. Drives too much like a truck. 4. Tire choices for the 20” rims are limited and there are no good choices. They’re all truck tires.
You know as much as I like to have a bigger SUV. I really like the UX250h interior design. It feels like futuristic/luxury at the same time. Its almost like a space ship cockpit.
Honestly, I like the older generation NX. I feel as if the older Gen is more timeless. I don't mind the touch pad, no touch screen is no biggie for me and I overall prefer the styling of the older NX. This new generation does look good though
Nice review of a complicated vehicle with many engine options. Is the vehicle comfortable? How would a long trip be by yourself or one passenger. I'm ok with small back seat, since I don't carry passengers there. I am also fine with cargo space measurements.
I am 6’0” 205 lbs. No slender not heavy. The F Sport seats are a bit tight but I drove the car 1300 miles with no issues (my butt and thighs survived!)
Yeah. The turbo nx is disappointing as I had predicted months ago. A cx5 turbo or Santa Fe turbo will destroy this Heck even the old v6 rav4 or my v6 Camry both will destroy it
A few days ago I sat on the driver's seat in a new 2022 NX. Raised the seat to suit my 5' 7" height. And yet, trying to look over the hood at the road was like looking over a mountain. Pathetic. And the cabin was cramped looking. All that hulk and bulk and the cabin is cramped? To repeat, pathetic. In contrast, the 2022 ES300h is a delight as regards cabin room and trunk space. Even has a spare tire despite being a hybrid. That is the car I chose.
Nope. I knew the nx would be outclassed months ago when it was unveiled and I was right. My so called “bogus claim” that the nx is outclassed and already dead on arrival because of the gv70 is not so bogus now is it…
@@JJJosh949 nope The gv70 is not literally a Hyundai Tucson. The platform and architecture are very different and bespoke. The Tucson is fwd the Gv70 is RWD. The nx is a rav4 like literally it IS a rav4. Both are fwd but the nx
I like this reviewer's presentation. I find him knowledgeable and informative. His pace and tone make him both easy to hear and understand.

EXCELLENT REVIEW. You actually covered the ride quality which "reviewers" don't seem to care anymore. Thanks!!
Great no BS review, Joe. Thanks for being informative and clear.

why is no one talking about the new remote parking feature?!

Very objective review. Thanks
Love that they got rid of the outdated rear emblem. I value uniqueness in an update and I think Lexus did very well here
Knowledgeable, common sense, liked presentation; I subscribed; thanks

Wait, so that WASN’T the full detailed review? Lol
I think the delay is for safety reason
They made it look less ugly. Lessening the crazy creases made it look better.
how does this stack up against any version of the current RX?
Very detailed review. Thank you .

I would love to see one with the smaller screen. This one is a bit obnoxiously big. Big screen bothers me while driving at night.
You can turn it off or put it in dark mode.
What happened to the NX 300? I can’t seem to find it I any of the videos on the NX…and yet the dealer tells me it is still available in 2022.

How tall are you? Does your head touches the roof some times? Thanks!
Factual and unbiased review. Highly logical human communicator.
Anyone else who can’t stand the BLAND dashboard as much as he/she loves the detailed Doorbins??
EXCELLENT REVIEW
*any news on msrp price in Canada* ??
firm and busy...lexus lost their way over 10 years ago, gv 70 blows this away
You explained the mystery of why Acura and Lexus use the 1 to 1 touchpad.
How do you compare the NX350 with premium package or NX350 F sport to Audi Q5 Premium?
Easy
Q5 is better. Because it’s cooler faster etc. the nx is just a reskinned rav4. It’s not a luxury car
A lot of people are also saying the 2.4 turbo isn't as fast as Lexus claims.
Yeah. The turbo nx is disappointing as I had predicted months ago. A cx5 turbo or Santa Fe turbo will destroy this

Aren't we picky. The overpricing is my only issue with Toyota/ Lexus products. Their annual profits reflect that too. Great cars otherwise.
Seems like it initially, but with 5 year residual at 56% makes it a better value than the competition (GV70, 30%).

Wished you drove the new F Sport like other reviewers on RUclips did.
Awesome!

Sure, and one of the worst brands for depreciation. If you can swallow the loss, the GV70 is good choice.
I'll take a Genesis GV70 over this Rav4
You mean the Hyundai Tuscan*
Agreed

Nah, Lexus is awesome. Genesis gas pigs.
@@sammydavis991 gas hogs? It’s a luxury car. Fuel economy shouldn’t even be a concern since you can afford the car
