Lord help me, this is exactly what I needed council on. God has been placing in my attention the need to humble myself and have a tenderness of heart, which shows me that God is more concerned ATM with my character but is not denying my concerns when it comes to essential disagreements with the senior pastor. More or less, I appreciate that TGC is touching base on this sensitive (?) matter.
I was a member from a so-called "Mega Church" for 19yrs. and the Pastor's teachings started to evolve into a gospel that was not word based. In churches of that size the best thing to do is pack your bags and say nice knowing you. Many of those Pastors have arrogance and pride and most likely won't listen to a member that is just another number. Moreover, the chances of even getting a meeting with the Senior Pastor is slim or take a number and get in line.
Let's start it off this way: senior pastor is not a biblical title. That causes these men to become arrogant and later become above reproach. Ok, now let's continue.
