      I'm too cheap to use gloves at times as well as Gloves also interfear with my grabbing bolts and stuff. Please use what you are comfortable with! The most important part is that you are doing the maintenance!

    Kinda looked like my 15 year old Toro before I knew how to do regular maintenance to it. I baby my new Toro now.

      The most important part is that you are learning! Never stop! At 15 Years old you did something right! This machine won't make at this current rate of decay.

    Wow, that is way to nice of blower to treat it like that customer has. I think you did a great service to that machine. The only thing i would have done differently is to check to make sure it had a name brand spark plug and not something like Torch or Savior. ✌🇺🇸☃️

      To Them its just a tool! To Me Its a tool as well but why not do things to improve a great ROI. You are just opening yourself to reliability issues as well. Rust does funky things!

    You must be sponsored by Red and Tacky lol. At EP we always rated the Ariens as the number one snowblower on the market until there started to be failures on the auto turn gear systen so much so that there is a shortage of replacement gear plates and replacements are on backorder. Nothing a little weld job cannot correct to keep a customer going but then the auto turn is eliminated.

      @pattayperformance  8 месяцев назад +1

      I’m sponsored by a beautiful Kindergarten Teacher 🤣. I know you guys are having issues with 00 Grease. Check out next weeks upload on Red N Tacky In The Cold. It’s a great alternative.
      We still think Ariens is #1 and we have had yet to fail worn gears on an auto-turn. Eliminating the Autoturn isn’t a bad thing IMO all of machines are El Manual. If someone doesn’t have a welder wonder if you drill both gears and nut and bolt it.
      When it comes to Power Steering MTD has the best design when it comes to reliability and repair.

      Thanks for the tip! I'm a hands on type of guy. That is the way I was taught and it is hard for me to break. Lucas did come out with Red N Tack In Spray Can Form. I use it in hard to reach places as well but on these machines and tractors...not much I can't get too.

    Nothing to do with maintenance crap metal Ariens is using.
    Your videos are superb as usual. But…it’s the metal brother.
    I also use a 150 sand paper on rusted axles shafts lightly. Hit it with PB Blaster. Wipe it do it again ..,then grease where needed and oil where needed. The body should not rust. Regardless…

    • @pattayperformance
      @pattayperformance  8 месяцев назад +1

      So this is due to poor storage issues...due to poor storage condensation will get into places and reak havoc. Look at the island of Japan...look at places that get high condensation rates. There is no air circulating get water to dry out. Water will sit and rot no matter what. I don't believe its a metal issue TBH...this machine at the state it is...user error. Condensation will find and work it way into things...like a cockroach. Glad you got some snow!

      @@pattayperformance I hear you. But regardless of maintenance in New England…in a shed, garage, tarped ..what ever yo get condensation and moisture. Unless your heated winter, dehumidifier summer..you are gonna get this crap from..,A crap. My dads old 1965 that has sat in a shed uncovered with the cab unused for of 30 years has lest rust than my twob5 year ld machines. One stored right next to the 1965.
