Eva, a rookie traffic cop, is assigned on duty in the outskirts of the city as a minister's convoy is scheduled to pass by. As she waited alone for hours, Eva felt the need to answer nature's call. She saw a dilapidated building covered by bushes. Eva found a rundown toilet in the building and relieved herself. And then, unexpected turn of events lead her into a nightmarish situation.
Eva was well received in the International Film Festival circuit with screenings in 40 Film Festivals so far. Eva won awards in prestigious films festivals like International Thai Film Festival, Philadelphia World Film Festival, Sweden Film Awards, New Jersey Film Festival, Taiwan International Film Festival, Dubai Independent Film Festival,
Bhutan International Film Festival, Durban international film festival, Banaras Film Festival and so on.
The Director of the film, Sohanlal is known for his Malayalam Feature films Orkkuka Vallappozhum, Kadhaveedu, The Great Indian Road Movie, Appuvinte Sathyanweshanam and Swapnangal Pookkunna Kaadu. He started his career in 2006, with a short film ‘Neermaathalathinte Pookkal’ based on the life and stories of Madhavikutty aka Kamala Das. Eva is his second short film made after a 15 year gap.
Payel Mukherjee, who essayed the main role - Eva - is a celebrity actress from Bengal and the producer of the film, Anokha Rajan is a young CEO of an IT company in Trivandrum.
