Full recipe at: www.rei.com/bl...
Toasty and tasty, this personal pizza pocket is made with a pie iron and perfect for your next camping trip. Cheese, peppers, olives, pepperoni, and more. Pick whatever filling you'd like, and make it your own.
Dang. Making your own dough is next level. Our Scout troop just uses sandwich bread 😹

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this comment was absolutely necessary
Love to see you guys cook this up and many more with a Ohuhu wood gassifire stove or Solo or any brand of your choosing .
How long did you leave it in the fire?
Omg, drool🤤
Can anyone suggest a good recipe?
Looks delicious. Does not get more "glampy" than that though. Don't know many campers bringing flour and yeast to the campsite.
There's no wrong way to camp.
@@emilymartin5418 I didn't say there was, did I? If you took offense, I suggest you not read more into RUclips comments than is there. If you know "a lot" of people bringing flour AND yeast to the campsite, then feel free to disagree and maybe there's a conversation to be had. If that's even a part of your normal packout, maybe there's a conversation point. Personally, in 30+ years of camping, I've never seen anybody bring those ingredients along. If they wanted to sell Pie Irons (clearly they do) a more accessible recipe might have been a better choice, which was my point. And if you read the later comments, I'm not alone in my assessment. If you want to glamp, knock yourself out and have a blast doing it. No need to be defensive.
@@backpacker3421 What I'd like to know is how did you ascertain she was being defensive through text with no emotion in it? Could've totally been a laissez-faire, happy comment for all we know. Akin to something like; "You say tomato I say tomah-to", with a smile and a shrug. Take it for what it's worth. At least I now know a word such as "glampy" exists.
Sorry, maybe I should have said "contradictory" rather than "defensive". Anything else you'd like to correct?
@@backpacker3421 Nah man. I just felt like giving you a hard time. I'm also in the same lane as far as camping is concerned. I haven't done in years but I brought what I needed and I get through the night without any hiccups and that's all I could ask for. I can take a couple of days away from pizza pockets and hamburgers and what not. Give me pork and beans cooked over a fire and a bologna sandwich, some chips and a few beers and I'm good to roll.
Bro who is making their own dough. Show me something practical
