Can I just say, RUclips loves the sam kolders and the casey neistats of the internet but this is real and honest storytelling, well done you are an absolute inspiration.
What a day that was - will live long in he memory this trip... Another superb edit - feeling the pressure to get anywhere close to these when I get round to editing this trip!!
Hey Murray I am sure your video will be just as good as all your videos are. You always create amazing footage and film the mountains in such an insightful way that is unique to you alone! I can not wait to see your version :D Teddy
Just back from Torridon...liathach...thanks both for the inspiration....camera gear is heavy but so worth the effort...Murray you have a new subscriber...Thomas keep up the great work...ace
The sunrise image is stunning indeed with the added foreground of the small lake and plants. The ridges of the hills or mountains and its pastel look deserves a nice print.
This video really felt like a old school Thomas heaton video but made with a higher quality. After being a subscriber for about 3 years since the video solo wild camping on location, it's great to really see your progression of film making. This is my new favourite video on the channel, great work Thom and thank you for teaching me so much on photography and opening me to this great hobby. Keep up the good work!!
Hey, I normally don't comment on videos but I just wanted to say that your videos help me calm my anxiety. Thank you so much for sharing your passion with us.
Its really nice to see you relaxed in your photography and enjoying the sights for shear pleasure. Its nice when we can escape just to enjoy nature and record the joys the sights bring.
Just finished watching this and what a great effort with the B-roll getting all those camera positions in to place for filming. The images were well worth it and in terms of those fires, I know the fire crews working in these areas done a great job in controlling them. One final comment I started watching this at 6:02pm and already some tube had given it a thumbs down, despite being 18 minutes long. They really need to get a life and stop living under that bridge
I’m so glad that I discovered you on RUclips . I’m at beginner in photography I’m learning everyday . Sometimes is hard to keep me motivated but you help me a lot to keep going in this direction. I hope in one day to be great as you are . Thank you.
It doesn't get any better! I'm a coup!e hours from the Appalachian Mountains and I'm keen to get up there and shoot after watching this. I'm inspired. Thanks Thomas!
Having to self isolate and work from home was just about tolerable, hitting a lamppost at speed on my road bike, the result of which has reduced me to not being able to work is intolerable. However, watching your videos has kept me sane. So, thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us.
Wow that was just stunning , days like that make you glad to be alive . Superb video Tom . Had a morning like that at Glen Afric a few years ago , didn’t want it to end
Ok Tom you inspired me to get up at 4 this morning and venture out with the camera. Orange skies. dark mountains. and fog in the valley below. got some great shots. Thanks. Great videos.
Love these two latest videos from you Tom - it feels like you're going back to your roots. These videos, the ones that remind me that our island still has some beautiful places to explore, are the ones that inspire me to get up and get out with my camera. Thank you.
The final photo reminded me of a Turner painting. Stunning. I have been watching your channel for a few weeks now, and it has even made get up before dawn to capture a image. Love your work and Vlogs.
Cracking video Thomas. A couple of billy goats but the reward looked to be so worth it and no more midges! Really enjoyed the content this week. The combination of stills, drone work and music made for a great watch. Cheers!
Great video again, Thomas. Just wonderful. I can't believe that you picked up your tripod and left that sunrise shoot when you did! At that moment the scene looked superb to my eyes!
Love when the photos have a bit more depth and meaning behind them. A pleasure to watch as always Thomas and thank you for all your hard work it is definitely inspiring to watch.
Loving your channel Thomas. I'd love to see a video on what gear you carry on these wild camping trips( both in terms of camping and photography) and how you pack/ carry it all.
A truly wonderful film. Inspiration indeed. I’m visiting Wales in a couple of weeks, super looking forward to a break from my norm of interiors and shooting landscapes.
When one day i decide to make a youtube channel to promote my photography, i sure will make it like your style Thomas. You're such an inspiration for me. Cheers.
Hey Tom, yet another beautiful, beautiful video. I would just like to thank you on behalf of my wife and me for uploading such wonderful videos almost everyday. Your videos are a daily routine for us while having our morning tea (chai). Your process makes us start hiking to such landscapes. The music you use is so soothing & mellow and it goes very well with the scenic landscapes. I can totally imagine how difficult yet creative it must be for you to visualize how your videos are going to have a seamless & effortless look, then accordingly setup your blogging camera, hike and be on time at the right moment and yet take such great shots. As far as the actual landscape images are concerned, everyone has a subjective opinion on them. Some like it, some don't. Sometimes I love them, sometimes i don't. Don't be too hard on yourself. Anyways, you should plan a trip to India sometime soon. India has a diverse set of landscapes all over the country, desserts, mountain terrains, deep forests, rivers, lakes, beaches, we've got everything here. Keep up the good work.
Awesome Vid, really enjoy your camping videos. The first one you did years ago, inspired me to start doing the same. Walking, camping & photography - It doesn't get much better, especially in far away Tasmania. Thank you Thomas :)
Yes, absolutely stunning and magical! You have the talent for the entire package Thomas! If there were Oscars for what you do (why aren’t there), you would surely have a couple of statues on your shelf! I’ve been binge watching and I tried to figure out the artist singing the “Geronimo” song in this video however SoundHound and Siri failed to recognise it. I’m guessing a local artist.
Awesome vlog, Tom. I really appreciate the effort you have put in shooting your mountain climbing scenes. You are great at storytelling. Thank you for your awesome contents.
Have watched your videos for a while now, and continually impressed at the consistently high quality - the amount of work that goes into each one is astounding and your love for what you are doing oozes off the screen, completely infectious! If could be cheeky enough to make one tiny suggestion, that would be to include a smidge more detail on the locations you visit. I sometimes struggle to identify from OS maps and online tools when locations turn out to not resemble what I had imagined. Because spare time for trips is limited, I'm reluctant to explore for exploring's sake and head to more well trodden paths. Anyway, just wanted to chip in and congratulate you on another excellent (pair of) video. Thanks!
Heading to Scotland later this year and your video is making me very excited to get there (and I will add some jelly babies to my backpack:). Wonderful images.
Hello Tom, this is one of your best videos in a good while! Absolutely loved it. Great pace, fantastic editing, great narrative and really inspirational. You nailed it! See you in the Alps!
I'm loving the edlkrone usage ❤ It really shows the intense amount of effort you put into your production, the time taken to compose each video location and the movement, composing for photos must be a breeze in comparison to the planning and production of your videos. I was up the Applecross pass a few weeks ago in my campervan, we stayed overnight to get some night and morning views and it was stunning, sorry, it was absolutely stunning, the views form up there are like no other.
Superb (as you stated) video and images. It's very welcoming to see another proper wild camping video from you. Beautifully pieced together, great calm pace. Didn't feel like 18 minutes at all, that is a sign of quality. well done ser!
I love that you pointed out that it's not really about photography, but that photography is the excuse to be out here. I love that.
Can I just say, RUclips loves the sam kolders and the casey neistats of the internet but this is real and honest storytelling, well done you are an absolute inspiration.
Bernard Cloete Cheers, Bernard. Much appreciated.
Watching him make me wanted to go hiking and take photographs
Anyone who thinks your job is easy should just look at you when you got up, you were knackered but still carried on. Thank you Thomas.
nothing better tea time and a thomas heaton video
What a day that was - will live long in he memory this trip... Another superb edit - feeling the pressure to get anywhere close to these when I get round to editing this trip!!
Scotland's Mountains nah, your edits are class. Can't wait to see your version of events!

Just watched Thomas's take on your journey together, two great takes on a fantastic adventure. Both of you at the top of your games.
Actually waited until I got home to watch on a full screen! Inspirational and brilliant.
This sort of video is the reason why I absolutely love your channel Tom. Thank you.
Really enjoying looking through all of your videos and seeing how your photographic eye and mind works in tandem with the landscape and conditions
The sunrise image is stunning indeed with the added foreground of the small lake and plants. The ridges of the hills or mountains and its pastel look deserves a nice print.
Tom,
Subtle and nuanced imagery. The land will be as a Phoenix after those fires.
Thank-You,
Mike

Finally got around to see this! Beautiful and interesting conditions with those fires!
