It would be a huge help to the public if you showed how to splint a real animal. Their reaction plays a crucial role in proper treatment and assessment and contributes to 70% of understanding how to properly treat the animal
@@JathanLaneas an aspiring vet. Most are not in it for the money. It's good to practice on stuffed animals to get the technique down then to a real animal.
A very important note, it is horrifyingly easy to make the wrapping too tight and cut off circulation, may lead to dead limp ultimately resulting in emputation, even vets aren't beyond this mistake, so BE VERY CAREFULL TO MAKE SURE THAT THE LIMP HAS ENOUGH BLOOD FLOW AND THE CAST ISN'T TOO TIGHT. Thank you🙏
Thank my dog is not in pain. You save me70.00 dollars. She going to have surgery, as soon as I raise 900. Now I have to weeks to raise the money. Thank you.

It's profitable for all vets if they DONT show it.

Great video thank you!
Does casting and sprinting stunt the growth of the arm?
It can if it's on for too long and not changed as a puppy. But if they are fully grown it's fine
What if it's just broken and no wound 🤔 can I still apply the cast padding
Yes, I'm pretty sure you do it regardless

It would be more useful if you had an overview to the steps - perhaps with a "slide".
