I absolutely love this part of the game, not only because you get to use Beatrix but also because it really builds the relationship between these 2 and serves to show how dedicated they are to protecting Alexandria. And Steiner entering Trance in the last fight really was a nice touch.
The greatest story driven level grinding session in history I theorize this amazing sequence literally only exists to help Steiner catch up to the rest of the party, since he had been out of the party since Dali It's still amazing though, knights being heroic is my shit. I feel like theres a later part of this sequence where Freya joins up with those two as they are fleeing the castle and it's the 3 knights together carving their way out of the horde, it's so good
