RPM ❤ we believe you! I think all anyone was saying was the 82* target temp is an OEM manufacturer setting, however we do agree with you lower temps as always been better for efficiency and hashrate! Awesome PSA .. KA Box is need you in my life, USA

I commented on your previous KA box video and my opinion still stands that I think for the price they should have figured out the cooling better as you clearly just showed us it helps with temps (giving you piece of mind and longevity) and hash rate. Great and simple solution with the fan RPM. Thanks for the vid.

I agree that it's a good idea to keep the miners cool to minimize power draw and maximise the lifespan of the fans and the miner, I just want to point out that the differance in HW errors could be silicone lottery and not only the extra cooling. I own 3 first gen HS-box miners and from miner to miner there are sometimes a 2-3% difference in HW errors.
    Keep making great content 👍

Absolutely loving the detailed breakdown of the Goldshell KA Box Kaspa miner! Your insights are always spot-on, and the way you navigated through the specs, performance, and profitability aspects was incredibly informative. It's clear that mining KASPA could be a promising venture, especially with the unique features of the KA Box. I appreciate the balanced view on its operational costs and potential earnings, giving us a realistic expectation. Can't wait to see more content like this, especially deep dives into other ASIC miners and how they stack up against the KA Box in terms of efficiency and profitability. Keep up the fantastic work!

I broke down and bought one from a reseller after missing out both times on the Goldshell website. I definately want to get a rear-shroud kit. I think the front would be problematic with the power/ethernet and limited opening as you identified. Rear shroud makes more sense. Were you able to capture the before/after power consumption of the miner and then the miner+fan?

I think the KA Box is awesome but I agree with you on the heat. Iceriver said the same thing to me about the KS0 Pro, that it is meant to run hot. But I see better hashrate with temps in a lower range than what they suggest. And I don't like my miners running that hot for longevity and safety!

Thanks for the vid! Waiting for KA directly from Goldshell. Ordered some six pins from veteran miner. You said the fan on the back is to "extract" air, I'm assuming you have the fan directed to push air out and exhaust air, not push air in, correct? I watched to the end a couple of times. Thanks and pick me for 24 hour hashrate.

Great info. The side by side comparison is great. In my opinion you should always try to lower the temp on electronics - if you can do this simply by adding some airflow that's great. Goldshell does try to minimize noise on these units but they all operate at relatively high temps... Might not be an issue but it doesn't hurt to cool them down a bit.

My result with the KA Box has been opposite to yours (and consistent with Rabid Miner's findings). Every time I use any fan to cool it below 78-79C, hardware error starts to rise, and hashrate drops.
