Hey we finally got there on June 29th and had a lovely 3 night stay. The weather was excellent (thankfully) and the bungalows lovely with good air con. My air con broke down once but the mechanics were there within 2 mins to fix it. We went to Maya Bay on an early morning trip at 630 am and saw it in all its glory followed by swimming and snorkelling around Pileh lagoon and we even saw the infamous black tip sharks which were very sweet. We also saw monkeys on monkey beach and went to beautiful Bamboo island. It was a dreamy 2 weeks between Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi (where we saw loads of monkeys). Holiday of a lifetime. Getting home was a beech though. It seems to take an eternity and now I am exhausted and jetlagged, Thanks for this recommendation. Our fave bar on Phi Phi was Carlitos. Great fire shows there at night!

@@britslivinginspain we are planning to return to Thailand too! Next year! Krabi was wonderful. We splashed out on a very swish hotel called Rayavadee which is sandwiched between Railay beach and Phranang beach. It has the most amazing infinity pool overlooking Railay beach. Lots of monkeys live around the resort too. Railay and Phranang beaches are gorgeous. If you don't fancy splashing out on Rayavadee, you can always check out the Bhu Nga Thani Resort. They have very very good rates there. I wholly recommend Krabi. We loved it!

I booked this hotel for when we are in Phi Phi next month. Got a pretty good deal for 2 cottages. After 3 nights here we will go to the other side of Phi Phi and stay at the SAii hotel. Thanks for this recommendation, very useful

Looks brilliant detached accommodation and beautiful beach just down the path very nice ...wait no alcohol 😮 how long doestge beach bar stay open and how do you order
Bar only stayed open until maybe 9pm? Plenty of others a short walk away though 😀 thanks for watching 👍
What a deal 50 quid for the suite, looked like the weather was great despite the off season. I loved that buffet and thank you Helen, glad they had a gym 😂. No alcohol, no problem. Despite the bar being there. Top tip, bring my own Stevia if I go to Thailand. I don't like sugar.

another question...is there plenty to do around Tonsai at night? Did you venture into the eateries and bars?
Hi. There are LOTS of bars and restaurants in Tonsai, you’ll be spoilt for choice. I’d recommend finding a bar one evening where they have a fire show, they’re amazing.
