Thanks for sharing your adventures in El Salvador, I enjoyed your video with the foods and café Albania. I will go next month to visit family. Thanks for taking the time to record the video. Thanks so much.
Thanks for watching! Yeah theres a bus going everywhere every 20 minutes, oh but at night time you might need a tuktuk to get from village to village..🛺
Between major cities ( like San Salvador to Sonsonate ) its about 1 - 1.50, and the ones running from village to village, like Juayua to Ataco were 25 cents. Regarding tuktuks, I took one from Apaneca to Juayua, which the guys at Cafe Albania ordered or me, and that was 7 dollars. Might have been able to find one for less if I walked to the street to find one on my own, but its really not a bad deal.
Boiled Yucca was great, if that's not for you there are Pupusa places everywhere which is a pretty good backup plan! And definitely try the Horchata, the stand I got it from in the park in Ataco was the best I found.
El Salvador felt totally safe. Personally I ran into more dangerous situations in Nicaragua and Mexico than I did here. Although I'm sure you can find trouble if you search for it, many websites are falsely describing El Salvador as more dangerous than it really is.
