Still firmly of the stance that they should bring Clyde back as a proper companion in DW
He was by far the most developed character in the show and had the most substantial character growth, just such a great example of subtle yet brilliant writing.
Idk what the actor is doing now, but if I were RTD, I know who my next companion would be before I’d even picked an actor for the Doctor.
One of the most iconic scenes was Celeste Rivers playing with her lipstick as if it was a Sonic Lipstick, change my mind

For the longest time, I thought Mr Smith’s fanfare was like other background music and didn’t really have any effect, but then SJ mentions it in The Stolen Earth and my mind was blown that he was doing that in universe.
Kind of the main reason why in the Mr Smith v K9 bitch fight, I stan him over K9. :P
I really love the adventure of Sarah Jane Smith maybe I should rewatching it soon.
I watched ‘Farewell, Sarah Jane’ after watching this and I cried so much! Russell’s writing slays me everytime and I canny wait for his return to dr who 😭😭 beautiful
After you and Deepa finish Dr Who you definitely need to watch SJA together
This was so much fun! I was well above the CBBC target age when SJA aired, but I still loved it and this gave me such nostalgic feelings.
I was expecting you to put Rani in the Royalty category. Shocked when you didnt 😂 She's had the most companion material for me. I could totally see a grown up Rani as the companion in the RTD2 era.
I was bored one day recently and decided to relive my childhood by watching reruns of SJA, and what a nostalgic journey it was. And I completely agree with this ranking of characters, I even did a Tier List of all the Sarah Jane Episodes and from personal interest, all of The Trickster Stories were in the top Three because he's just so stunning.
EDIT: And thank you for addressing the situation in the room, a CHILD SLITHEEN KILLING OTHER CHILDREN, That's always bothered me and I'm glad someone picked up on it
I can’t take Eddie Smith seriously as I just keep expecting to see Basil Brush pop up next to Mr Steven whenever he’s on screen. 😂

SJA was such a good programme. Even though it was on CBBC, it presented very mature stories and had good characters and development. I was devastated when I heard it would end. Are you and Deepa going to react to the series at some point? Would love to see it :)
I loved SJA, it was actually what got me into Doctor Who, I remember watching The Wedding of Sarah Jane, and The Doctor turned up and I was like oh my gosh, he's so cool. Also The Day of the Clown episode was terrifying, I couldn't sleep for days 😂.
I actually really do fancy Alan Jackson... I really enjoyed his energy and his commitment to Maria, and his direct involvement with the attic crew. He's also responsible for saving the day a lot so it's kind of a pity he had to leave with Maria (though of course he did, he's a good dad haha).
edit: oh and even when he'd left, he and Maria help save Clyde in Mark of the Berserker. He's the gift that keeps giving, hold me back!
I feel exactly the same I watched the show when I was 11 and I has a crush on him. Gutted when he left.
Not going to lie, I am so happy to see Mrs Wormwood at the top. Trickster may have been Sarah Jane's biggest villain but "Mrs W" was her biggest rival.

Solid ranking! My only issue is that Carla Langer ABSOLUTELY deserves Royalty category!! She's an icon, she's a legend, and she IS the moment. Now come on now! Looking forward to the episode ranking xx
Love your vid vids, they bring me such joy! And this vid vid made me miss SJA! My flatmate has never watched anything from the Whoniverse before, so I forced him to watch ‘Rose’ and since then, we’ve watched: Series 1, 2, Torchwood series 1, series 3 and we’re about to start SJA 1 and I’m so so so excited!
You should rank the Class characters. If you do make sure to include the old woman in the shop from the first episode XD
