I've been to Japan 5 times and have never heard of Kawagoe, looks like I need to go back again this year! Thanks for the introduction, It looks amazing!
Thank you for showing Kawagoe. I've always wanted to visit Kawagoe. I ride the Rinkai line a lot and I've seen the end station is Kawagoe. I will for sure go there when I visit Tokyo in May.
Kawagoe is on my list of places to visit in early March, i'm thinking a half day trip but there'll be no rush as I don't have anything else planned for that day.
I'm hoping to visit Japan this year and I will keep this place in mind. I could almost feel your pain when you were walking along the stone walkway 😣, glad you didn't have to walk back to get your shoes 🙂😃
Still available! A variety of 1-day passes are offered by Tobu railway and Seibu railway that include/exclude a combination of round-trip train fare, 1-day bus pass in Kawagoe or some discounts at select businesses
No one talks about taking the buses in japan, how do i buy tickets for the rides? From the bus driver? Also where did you buy the day ticket for Kawagoe? And in that case if you hop on a bus you should do that always on the first door and show the ticket to the driver?
Unfortunately we just couldn't fit the museum into the production schedule on the day, but we do mention it in our article tokyocheapo.com/entertainment/day-trip-kawagoe-little-edo/
I've always wanted to visit Kawagoe. This is the perfect guide!
Patricia really is the best host! Very interested to see more of her adventures
Something old with something new...
You are a wonderful host.

Sooo happy to see @whatthepato ❤❤❤
Lovely video. Enjoy learning about the culture. Favorite part watching you walk on the rocks 😂
Whoa , didn’t expect to see @whatthepato here
My FAV part of the VID is PAT 🥰
The editing is great, it makes the video super immersive. Can’t wait for the next one!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the vibe!
Nice find.
I think Patricia grew an extra 2 inches walking on those stones! 😀 Great episode as always - Patricia for President!

LOVE PATRICIA 😍🥰😍
so many good places to go!
4 seconds in, I think that's the same store I bought some daruma and cool bracelets made out of sandalwood. Def worth a 2nd trip!
And 3rd. And 4th. 😁

Kawagoe is a Chill low vibe my type of a place when I get a chance to visit Japan 😃

It’s one of the easiest full or half day trips from Tokyo so for sure keep Kawagoe in mind, especially if you can’t get down to Kyoto
Wow what a coincidence! I plan on going here in 2 weeks so this helps a lot. ありがとうございました
You’re going to love it!
Thanks for suggesting new nice places to explore for my next ravel to Japan ^_^
I want to go! ❤
Kawagoe is waiting for you 🤓
Ooo I must go!
100% recommend
Oooh I remember visiting that place, do they not offer the 1 day kawagoe pass anymore?

How did you go to Kawagoe without going to the Kawagoe festival museum or even mentioning the Kawagoe festival in late October?
Patricia was looking at half day or day trips and you would think time constraints would make your suggested activities difficult

🙂Due to your mic position when you eat or drink the video momentarily becomes an ASMR snippet.
Hope you’re enjoying the ASMR food sections 😅
Kawagoe Cheesecake also on my list, good lord has anyone else here eaten there? Enormous cheesecakes.
We did actually walk by it, but unfortunately didn’t have enough time to check it out. Everything did look amazing though, so maybe next time.
