Sorry for the longest hiatus ever, i got stuck trying to figure out what to cover ( plus i went on 3 vacation trips ), i started like 20 video's but this was first one i finished lol. i also tried to get footage of the Battleship Texas while visiting Texas back in January only to find out the ship was moved for repairs lol.
The Red ChineseType 63 semi-automatic carbine was the Red Chinese proud counterpart to the Soviet SKS. Most people ask, why didn't the Red Chinese just manufacture Russian SKSs? That's the very same question the Red Chinese government asked itself. That is why there were few Type 63 carbines as the Red Chinese began manufacturing SKS copies in mass numbers.
In fact, the Type 56 semi-automatic rifle was the Chinese counterpart to the Soviet SKS rifle, while the Type 63 was the Chinese military-industrial department's own attempt to “merge rifle and submachine gun” based on the Type 56 semi-automatic rifle (of course, the Type 56 submachine gun, which was modeled after the AK, was actually already in service).
I bought one in Australia with the world's worst plastic furniture, they were later banned as some individual in Australia made it fire on full automatic from a 75 Rd drum magazine. I was about 25 when custom officers came and seized it from me.
This would be a good candidate for some mid sized US company to start producing copies. Its design is (probably) out of copyright, it's relatively simple and there's a stamped receiver version, and it ticks all the boxes of desirable features. Ether that or a 5.56 SKS-M clone.
Glad to see another video upload dude, Always enjoy your content. both this and the SkS look classic USSR/Chian Cold war era and something i just like how they look. Again Great video dude. PeaceOut from me and my dog Max on the East Coast of the UK. 🙂
M-14 rifle might have been obsolete before it's time, but it was always an accurate rifle. Love the vid but I don't think this is a good comparison. Nobody ever used a Type 63 for a National Match rifle. Still a cool firearm though, I wish we saw more of these in North America.
Type 56 was originally a tipping bolt.Seems the breakdown pic you have, though, has rotating bolt?!If this is so;it truly is unique.Thank you good Sir and fully empathize with long hiatus😊
Mate whats your source on Bangladesh Using the Type 63, because I could not find any sources on it. Bangladesh From what I saw and heard from people in the Bangladeshi establishment, Bangladesh uses Type 56 SKS, and Type 56 Assault rifle and now the Type 81 assault rifle, which are known locally in Bangladesh as BD-08 assault rifle.

I never thought of it before but the Type 63 is to the SKS as the M14 is to the M1
Used that in a lot of security assignments good gun
Interesting 😊
The toolings of M14 were sold to the Phillipines and Taiwan, alone with some M14 rifles. Taiwan-produced M14s were called Type 57 rifle.
Random question, but where'd you get those PLA footage???
Thought you were dead dude hello welcome back

Cool weapon indeed
In "co belligerents" the g sounds like in "bridge" .. so its more like "village" not like "beleaguered"
So-called "co-belligerents" are nations which are anti-Imperialism aka Liberation movement.

oh shit he's back
God that thing is fuggy
I can't find any sources of this rifle being exported to North Korea
Nice to see you back ✌🏻🙏🏻
I've been here since your google plus days
The "nice try but no cigar" rifle by the Chinese

If you had the ak wouldn't it just be attempting to reinvent the wheel? No change in caliber and probably much more labor intensive to produce.
The only game(s) i know that has the Type 63 SKS is Military Conflict Vietnam, and CODBOCW but i could be wrong
Kidding almost forgotten. It's SKS copy cat and PLA used AK 47 as it main.
Yay Cleveland brown is back
❤
Cool
Norenco did make a copy of the M14 that shoots 762x39 but what your showings it's just a modified SKS
It's a Trans AK!
Get it, because it's just a mutilated SKS. Hehe
SKS-AK Hybrid
@@peekaboopeekaboo1165 That's what the Type-81 is.
@@thejonathan130
Type -81 is the better AK-47
There’s a major defect with this rifle
Just came here to give the video a thumbs down for the stupid title. Didn't watch, won't watch.
Dude this audio sucks
