Like him or dislike him ya gotta respect him. The guy has sacrificed more for taking his stand as a hunter than alotta people would. He was not inducted into the Rock&Roll hall of fame for the single reason of being an outspoken sportsman. The man just never gives an inch, if that ain't American I don't know what is.

Ted Nugent is the fucking man when will America wake up and get back to our roots. The reason this country is where it is today because of strong, brave, courageous, and determined men like Ted Nugent and all the good hunters out there.

  • @Rattlerjake1
    @Rattlerjake1 12 лет назад

In respect to hunting regulations, Nugent is correct. The tremendous number of regulations have been created by individuals in office who for the most part have no clue about hunting. Most wildlife agents know little more than how to enforce regulations, and half of those don't even know all of the regulations themselves. These regulations are created mainly to make legal hunting so difficult that the average person will refuse to participate.

Weren't the Sunday hunting bans in place because people were supposed to go to church? Growing up in the 70s and 80s it seemed like everything was closed on Sunday. Personally, I believe that spending time in the great outdoors is a religious experience. Also the state of Michigan should get open the firearm deer season on the second Saturday of November, instead of the 15th of November, a lot more people can participate.

"By our readiness to allow arms to be purchased at will and fired at whim, we
have created an atmosphere in which violence and hatred have become popular
pastimes." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
"With all the violence and murder and killings we've had in the United States,
I think you will agree that we must keep firearms from people who have no
business with guns." - Robert F. Kennedy, May 1968

Here in Virginia, we can't hunt on Sunday, I never could understand it! STUPID.!
They have tried to change it, and it's went before the state game but They won't budge.
Could someone tell me why? it's stupid!
I agree with TED!! I love his points, he speaks for the common man!

There was a government group based on socialism, you might remember it, it was called the Nationalist Socialist German Worker's Party, infamously known as Nazis. There was another government group based on socialism called the United Soviet Socialist Republics. I think you know who they were, and what brand of government they followed. Both used health care as a foothold to a creation of a different society, although the Nazis used theirs to enforce their beliefs and regulations.

If you want your hunt to be more of a challenge, then dont bait. If you would just prefer to get your meat quickly and easily, then use bait. I agree it should totally be the preference of the hunter on how they hunt bait or no bait. I hunt beside an apple tree, I do so because when I analyzed my property, I decided this would increase my probability to harvest an animal eficiently. Hunting is strategic, beautiful and our nature.

I agree that some game laws are ridiculous, like no hunting on Sundays. Blame the religious right for that one. But to say we need to attack all game laws that don't have to do with management or safety? Sounds like Ted's trying to justify his legal troubles and make it sound like some sort of noble thing he was doing, when in reality he was poaching. Also, nice to hear him call us sportsman "ignorant"
I've always been a fan of Uncle Ted, but I'm having a hard time stomaching this one.

@NorthWind331 i would be a contradiction if i said that i do not like baiting in some scenarios, it goes against the whole concept of fair chase... when it comes to predator control, and them being heavily over populated, bait away. we are having that issue here in upstate new york, and i agree everyone has the right to their own opinion if its subject related, or else its the same as going to a car dealership wanting to buy a pool.. a hunting video has no place for politics

In Iceland we have capitalism with some socialistic tendencies. For instance, there's health care for everyone, like it should be. Frequent studies show that Icelanders are among the happiest people in the world, and Americans always rank much lower than Icelanders.
The world isn't black and white. It's you who have had it beaten in your head that socialism is wrong in every shape and form.

@normalguyable I see people as just another species on planet earth doing what many species do; consuming life to keep living. Whatever advantages I have over other animals are a result of the evolution of my own species. Using these advantages doesn't seem wrong to me because I haven't made it my job to dictate to nature itself what's right, fair, or ethical. That's primarily where we differ I think.

Ted got a student deferment at the same time he was touring with his rock band putting in an average of 300 shows a year How was he going to school and touring that much at the same time? 30 days before his Draft Board Physical he stopped all forms of personal hygiene The last 10 days he ingested nothing but junk food, a week before his physical he stopped using the bathroom altogether living inside his pants caked with excrement and urine. That spectacle won Nugent a deferment. Coward!

@NorthWind331 alot of us getting lazy is what has happened to this country, and i will be the first to admit i myself have become way to complacent with how things are going, and people now commenting politically and how someone hunts, for example every nugent vid has political bullshit on it, or people are discussing the ethics of baiting..... now iam against baiting, and it is illegal where i live, but on the same token, you could say that using cover scents, decoys and calls are baiting

    mur·der/ˈmərdər/
    Noun:
The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.
First, even though our views differ I'd prefer if we could have a discussion without insulting each other. We're exchanging ideas, that's all. Second, I have no problem with you challenging my claim, but equating hunters with Hitler and resorting to ad hominem isn't a very strong argument.

So health care for everyone is not socialistic? You said socialism is wrong in every shape and form, free health care (henceforth: FHC) for everyone is a form of socialism. I ask you why you think FHC is wrong. You said you didn't say anything about HC, but socialism is wrong, implying FHC is not wrong. You are contradicting yourself. Hence why I mentioned flawed logic.
Everyone needs to have medical treatment available to them. Not everyone can afford it. Should they just die?
