Online Registration for National Identity Card || Nepal || राष्ट्रिय परिचय पत्र

The purpose of a National Identity Card is to provide a unique and secure means of identifying individuals within a country. The card typically includes essential personal information such as name, date of birth, photograph, and sometimes biometric data like fingerprints or iris scans.
According to Acting Secretary Jhakka Prasad Acharya for the Ministry of Home Affairs, the national ID will now come into compulsory use in all 77 districts from January 14, 2025 for getting services related to bank and financial institutions, telephone and SIM cards, social security fund, and real-estate business.
