- The process of painting my Alien statue with acrylics. This is a 1/6th scale Alien Xenomorph custom fan art statue, sculpted in Monster Clay, and cast in polyurethane resin.

You can use UHU glue to add drool to his mouth.. a detail rarely seen in the statues and figures. They always drool if the mouth is open.. i have a theory that the drool lubricates the inner mouth. Anyway pour the glue into something let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. Use a tooth pick apply the now tacky glue to the top lip and gently pull it down to the lower.. instant stringy saliva. You can also pool it up to have it hanging down from the chin..

He did blood off the hands in the same manner. Can I paint the glue red after it dried or mix in paint into the glue?

Hey sir I was wondering, what are the things a person should know about trying to sell sculptures based off of already known characters? Will the various studios come after you if you try?
I can't speak in their name, but this falls under fan art, and I don't think they mind the free advertising. As long as you don't mass produce to sell their stuff, it's not a loss on their part so I don't think it would make sense for them to come after you. I sold this to a few people, only to make up for the cost of my materials and time spent making it.

Did you paint on bare kit or was it primed? Is it okay to paint without primer? I’m new to painting models I want to do it like you you’re really good.
Hi. I sprayed just a thin layer of white primer on this one, but I've also painted without primer and I haven't noticed much difference.
