Enjoyed the Turbo replacement series. Did you forget to show your viewers; Your engine oil, and coolant replacement? I am also assuming this is the same procedure for replacing the turbo on a 2014 A4, correct?
Its possible, but its going to be allot of maneuvering around the turbo and the CAT with the down pipe. Might need two people to do it. I would try to remove the CAT and down pipe 1st. But you would need to remove the HEAT shield just below the injectors.. Not much space and I didn't try that route.
Is it possible to disconnect the catalytic converter from the down pipe and pull it out from the top attached to the turbo? I know the bolt on the backside is a bitch to get to.

that would be considerably far more work
Not sure that you can remove the CAT from down pipe. Real tight space.
