@@gmatclub i am actually at cross roads. I am quite old and want to do mba. I am still wondering if I should go for emba. I have 15plus years of experience but never made enough time to study further. I certainly want to do emba but the information is so limited online. I want to do it from australia, i am certain about that as i would like to settle their later . I am in Philippines now.
Please need a Candid answer - Need a full time Program. Age 43 and good work experience of 15+ years including international experience.Wanna Shift Industry and Domain and get into leadership options! any options? Any MBA program ? Any recommended programs? ANY full-time campus Executive program that helps shift, gain education, fill the new gaps and regrow the career ? Should we give the GMAT or EA and do you help with that ? is there any options AT ALL for the mid-carrer shifters ? or basically we have to target only the other non competitive programs or online only programs. Don't want such options.. Hence appreciate if you could recommend and give a complete guided approach and connects and options ! Thank you 👍 .. much appreciated
Great Session Maria and Shouvik. In skype interview, generally for how long should a candidate speak to answer a question? Say about 3 to 5 mins? Does interviewer gets bored/losses interest if the answer is too long?
It really depends on the question. For the 'walk me through your resume' or 'tell me about yourself' questions - you want to keep it within 3-5 minutes because anything longer will probably wane off your interviewer's interest. For other questions, I would try to do 2-3 minutes but remember that the content of your answer matters a lot more than the time it took. You could have a 6-minute engaging answer that your interviewer may follow as opposed to a 1-minute haphazard response that might seem longwinded. Frameworks like STAR (situation - task - action - result) or CARL (context - action - result - learning) and remembering to answer the question helps your answer to be on track and help the interviewer follow along. - Souvik from GMAT Club
@@satishkumarsajjan2132 got it. The guy getting interviewed seems to have one. How much time do you think it takes to get one. I want to get one before the interviews.
@@hidekiuzumaki285 what exactly do you mean by getting an accent ? I think it's best to just speak naturally as long as you have proper grammar and annunciation. Putting on a different accent can be picked up by the listener and it may sometimes come off as pretentious or trying trying too hard.
You probably want to judge based on your interviewer's feedback. This year's interviews are all virtual and that's harder since you see the person on the screen; it is hard to connect. it is always awkward speaking to a stranger via computer screen so I would say it is probably even more important to try to be more talkative and engaging ... but again, see how they are responding to your answers. Ideally you have prepared some points and answers already and illustrating points from examples and you have done a dry run a friend or alum or current student....
Dear God, must one be told not to say I chose my university due the fact that it is prestigious? The rest is pretty elementary as well. Go out, work for a living and you will learn these things FOR REAL. These people are in a bubble.

Look at the arrogance on his face while answering. It's obvious that he is in there for more money and that's it.
