Nick Jaffe sailed the Contessa 26 solo...UK to AUS, but you crossed the Atlantic with 3 people? To say that was risky is an understatement. I think you got lucky. One under-estimated squall and this video doesn't exist. Don't do it again.
I can see why having only an outboard motor is cause for concern, but how does three people make an important difference. There are advantages as well as disadvantages.
