when i watched the japanese version, the submarines scene made me giggle cause the american actors didn't act serious.

Though the Frankenstein idea was after a literal continuation of King Kong vs Godzilla, which is called King Kong vs Godzilla continuation, just look up wikizilla about this one,
Plus Godzilla acted more like Malevolent child who enjoy the pain of others
Kong, well calling him a idiot would not completely be the right description , Kong here is more like old drug addict, who had to much to drink and pretty much confused about the situation he is in
He mentions that in the Reissue of King Kong Escapes.
I would’ve given you a request to do the Godzilla movies. I am by far a more Godzilla fan than king fan. That’s just me though
Fun fact the Kong suit from King Kong vs Godzilla was later used on the Tsuburaya Productions tv series Ultra Q in episode 2 Goro and Goro and a monkey tail was added to the suit and the head was replaced.

I like this movie and I really like the music in it with good Godzilla design. Kong on the other hands, looks like a roadkill.
7 to 6 months too go till GvK and I can't wait. I'll watch this movie a thousand times till GvK comes out

...but in King Kong Vs. Godzilla (1962 - 63) he busts free. He's now in colour, is plumper, toe-less, and has a lizard-like head with yellow eyes, no ears and no fangs. He faces off against a giant ape (King Kong), tumbling into the ocean.

Jack, you should make two more videos talking about the lost King Kong Vs Godzilla Part II idea (Supposed to come out after this film did, there is also a full story of it on Toho Kingdom called Continuation: KKvG) as well as the lost Godzilla Vs King Kong (Heisei) version that was supposed to originally be what Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah became.
UPA owner Henry Saperstein claimed to have lightened Godzilla, but he was probably full of it.
Ok I know this comment is like way late (Two years late) BUT there is a reason the Kong suit looks like that, well technically 2. The first reason is that one of the clause in the contract between Toho and RKO was that Kong couldn't look like the 33 version of himself which leads into the second reason, Kong was modeled after Japanese Macaques (Those monkeys that actually bath in hot springs in the mountains of japan.) Since as said in the first Reason, Kong couldn't look like his 33 self, so the designers used a primate closer to their home(As in Japan) as inspiration for the first Toho Kong.
Feel like the ancient rivalry for the American version was put into the new Godzilla vs Kong
