I was only looking as I’m paralysed waist down and thought this would be great. I bought a GTX 300 instead, far more fun and I don’t feel I’ve been ripped off
I just rented three of these with my two kids in Mexico (Xel-Ha) and we had an absolute blast for an hour. Very easy to learn to use. The best place to use them is in something like 20ft of water with plenty of fish around to chase and rocks to explore :-) They are really good fun. If you gave me the choice of riding a jet-ski for an hour or a Seabob it would be the Seabob every time. A jet-ski gets boring after about 15 minutes, Seabob will keep you entertained day after day, especially if you're in an interesting underwater environment. I'm surprised at the cost but I imagine that's down to how many they sell, they're very specialist, they're not going to sell millions of the things.
These underwater propulsion crafts are very cool. They appear to be very safe to control and if you can use snorkeling as a regulation then that's so much fun
Waaaaaay overpriced. I can buy 3-4 jet skis with a trailer or 2. Seabobs should only cost 2-3k at most. The markup for seabobs is just plain theivery and greed.
@@lmd499 It is a low production niche product, with high development costs. It is also a toy that nobody needs. No one is mandated to purchase one. The company can charge whatever the hell they want to and the market will decide if it is a success or not.
cool product, ridiculous price. You would just buy a traditional sea scooter and keep some spare 12v Lithiums on board. Clearly the target market is the cashed up, yacht owners... fairs, fair.
The price is so stupid. I have a gas water scooter and 2 electric Yamaha water scooters and they are perfect for what I do. $16k for a stupid little water scooter. This is something that only rich people would buy for their yachts. No normal people are buying this.
@@YachtHunter I appreciate the analogy but in reality renting that for multiple hours would be fun but 160 an hour is like 4 time what a middle class family makes an hour it’s just too much, this thing is just for the wealthy and that’s okay it’s definitely not affordable though! Your channel is for dreamers just own up to it!😂 we will never be able to partake in all of it but it sure is fun to imagine 😂

Solstice Seapen please
The price is mental, you can get a very decent jet ski for that
You can get a few!!
If you do not have enough room for a jet ski buying one is mental.
A really nice new one

You don’t get it. It’s not a jetski. Different market. Different cost structure. I can buy a watch for 10X more than what this costs, who cares?
Don't go below the recommended 25 feet, otherwise a Reaper Leviathan will tear you apart.
If you can afford $1,000,000+ for a yacht and something costing up to $16,000 is too much for you a yacht is not the right thing for you.
On yacht loans you only pay 15% of the yacht on average going up to 30% so you have to say to yourself is 10 of these worth my massive yacht

Everything is worth what the purchaser will pay. No one needs one, and nobody is forcing anyone to buy one- so where is the thievery and greed?
@@Nunyabizn3ss from the company that’s charging $14,000...did you read a word he said?

If you think it’s piracy, start making them and selling them cheaper.
See them at boat shows and they are marketed to the yacht owner i noticed.
YES i can tell you it is well worth the price it is amazing
That’s it, I’m building one for Americans!! Are you guys cool with $1800 for a basic package?
Underrated channel and video! You got new sub!
And one question does the seabob float?
Mikuzi that’s greatly appreciated. If you have any suggestions for how I can make it better please let me know!
It does float - 100N buoyancy
Great video! Very high quality! Nicely done.
atcsulb thanks so much!
Would like to see it under water with the beauty of the ocean.
You can literally get an exploration rated scooter for like professionals and a navigational head for the unit for like 10k (suex xk)
How long is charging time?

Seemsss it would be perfect for Lifeguards at a Beach.
THE PRICE OF THIS THING IS CRAZY ! I HAVE 4 SUBLUE NAVBOW UNDERWATER SCOOTERS. THERE ARE GREAT, AND VERY, VERY MUCH CHEAPER
I just think it wasn't cool of you to turn the volume down when you said 16 grand.
Hahah

0:40 25 feet is perfect for divers? Are you fucking with me? R1 diver can dive 60 ft underwater, this is not for divers...
I seen Ben mallah had one. That’s what brought me here. They look fun-ish. But $16K. I’m out.
For 16k i can get an old jetski and scuba certified with full scuba gear and have money leftover for lunch
Sir seabob. Seabobsir
16k ..... someone is on crack
No worth $14,000. Specialy with the batt charge good for only 1hr...
Believe me, it’s actually worth it once you own it.
@@JustusS. It's worth rich people. The price is mental.
My 2021 rxtx on my profile pic cost as much as one of these...They're crazy
What is the price ?
Looks like a lot of work
I just want a sleeping beauty

How loud is it?
Its electric so obviously not very
Some of the rich folks I've met are too stupid to spend their own money. This seems geared specifically toward these people.
So, they are stupid, and they are rich. An you are not rich, but hey, you are smart.
Sure yeah, it makes a lot of sense.
You forgot to mention recharge times.
Everything I saw in this video can be done with a more affordable DPV.
The Sub Wing
Michael Breslawski you know it
price???
Around $16K
The dude literally said the price in the first minute
How about reviewing one of those Foil things.
Does it float if you fell off?
Yes
Yes, but you don't fall off. More like, if it slips out of your grip.
16 grand for a scooter that can on;ly go to 20 feet...WTF?
16k....lol 😆 for people with more money than sense... 🤡
How much does that cost?
Jed Ledsham $8k - $10k
@@YachtHunter You said $16,000 in the video
Did you even watch whole video 🤦🏻♂️ to own one it gonna cost you 16k , renting one is around 8 to 10 k I believe

It could potentially be a Shark magnet. Something to think about🥴
Are you serious?
A person being in the water could be a shark magnet.I bet these things attract lava flows.Don't get me started on Megaladons.
Affordable rates my ass, 160 an hour 🤣😂
Cmon it’s less than an hour of ice time!
