I have been fortunate in owning my 1988 Mazda RX7, sunset red since new. The car has only 13,200 miles (no joke) on the odameter. The car starts right up regardless of the weather. Only had to replace the left rear brake caliper and shifter spring and bushing which I've been told are not uncommon issues with these cars. Other than that everything is as 'new'. The car handles extremely well on twisty country roads except for rather slow acceleration on start up due to the rotory engine.

The car has never been in a fender bender. I might be willing to sell the car to the right buyer - ie. someone who appreciates a classic 80's looking sport car. The latest Hagerty valuation is $16,500 which I've been told is reasonable. I should also mention the car has no A/C compressor which I had removed when I purchased the car - dead weight!
This car might not be everyones cup of tee but its a very rewarding drive for someone who apprecates a good handling convertible with decent late 80's acceleration. The gear shift is absolutely marvelous! A gentlemans car for sure!

I had a 1991 from 1997-2010. I wish I still had it. It is the only car I want back. It was great. Mazda used to have the tag line, It Just Feels Right. and it sure did.
