    as my friend and i are new to IAME X30 these videos are so helpful thankyou.
    having some issues with the rear of the kart bouncing out of corners (on throttle) - mostly out of slow corners
    would love some troubleshooting tips - is this an axle thing? tyre pressures? my shit driving? :)

    • @PowerRepublic
      @PowerRepublic  5 лет назад

      H Paul, thanks for the great feedback. Maybe if you are new driver, a common problems is getting on the throttle to early. This make the kart hop around slow corners. Otherwise if you are a tall or bigger shouldered driver (over 6" or 80kg's) then the kart might be too soft for you. Try adding seat stays, adding extra tyre pressure just to the rear of the kart, and then oyu could try a different axle grade. Which chassis make and model are you driving? And what is the height and weight of your drivers?

    Hi
    Great video !
    Shall the needle bearing in the clutch drum be regreased after a specific aount a operations hours ? or is it only when it dismunted for example when changing front sprocket.
    What kind of grease do you use ?
    Br. Martin

    • @PowerRepublic
      @PowerRepublic  4 года назад

      Hi Martin, we use Castrol HTB wheel bearing grease. With the needle roller you can do it say after about 5-6 hours, the 11T bush needs doing almost before each time you use the kart.

      J S if you have an EVO Max Engine, put the gas pedal to fully open the carb slide. If you have a non EvO Max Engine, some people liked to restrict the throttle so that you could just see the little round brass rivet of the slide when you looked into the carb. I personally always like to run Wide Open Throttle and change my foot position if necessary.

I ended up taking the big nut off (ground down the sides of a 27mm socket so I could get a shifter I’m on it, then smacked it with a lump hammer). I then could get the puller tool in and the shoes came off. Would have broken something if i had not watched this video. Would have been hard work doing it at the track. Thanks heaps.
