Dear sir, thanks for the video. In the past I cut numerous pieces of acrylic for jewelry displays and museum mountings. Placing a strip of clear packing tape on top of the acrylic and cutting thru the tape will lubricate the blade without any castoff of lubricant. The packing tape has a release agent applied to the shiny side to facilitate unspooling of the tape. I was then able to draw directly on the tape to show cut-lines and part layout lines without harm to the plastics. Thanks again for the demo.

Most excellent, thank you Sir. what I see it can be done for Celtic Knot designs since the narrow portion of the material that is not touched by the blade are what is visible. Beside when it is cut done on a lathe and sanded it will work out fine.

    Good day.
What is the name of the band saw model.
How many cutting speed meters / second.
What are the characteristics of the tape itself and the model.
Why the shelf was not made below because you can lower the guide unit saw blade.

I always wear and recommend wearing a dusk mask when cutting plastics and even woods.. In fact I usually wear a respirator when cutting and sanding any wood or plastic products since I have developed an alergy to some of the resinious wods.

The plastics are even worst than the wood... worked in commercial manufacturing of plastics for about 7 years..
