May I add something about the cactus? I think the cactus has a "Sleeping Beauty" connotation. Jimin pinched his finger with the cactus and it bled, similarly to what has happened to Sleeping Beauty. We see Jimin in bed, closing his eyes and bringing the white sheets over his face.He goes to sleep just like in the fairy tale. This is further reinforced when Jimin is falling backwards, which could be interpreted as letting go and losing touch with the outside world. This phenomena corresponds falling asleep .Jimin is also seen disappearing from underneath the yellow blanket. When Jimin emerges from that yellow blanket, he is met with the night sky, which has a blue hue rather than being completely dark. This is the moment Jimin wakes up from his slumber. In the fairytale, Sleeping beauty wakes up because the prince she was destined to be with, her Prince Charming, wakes her up. This is exactly what happens to Jimin. It is then that he , the Sun, meets the Moon, Yoongi: his Prince Charming, his blue mold. There is an additional significance to the color blue. In Spanish, the expression "Prince Charming" is actually "Principe Azul" which means "Blue Prince" in English .Yoongi is therefore Jimin's Prince Charming. It is also worth noting that the only two colours that pop throughout this MV are the color yellow and blue , everything else is white or sort of grayscale, except for the blood dot. The color blue is also seen in the blue morning sky Jimin looks up to while in bed, perhaps yearning for his "Principe Azul" (could "Prince Charming" translate in a similar way in Korean?). The giant yellow ball AND the blue sky are seen in the frame before Jimin disappears underneath the yellow blanket, hinting at a future encounter. The blood on Jimin's finger represents the love (as per the color red) that is awaiting in his destiny, and the sacrifice (in the form of hardships) it will take to experience that love. It ties in with the fact that Sleeping Beauty destined to pinch her finger and with DNA lyrics about love not being a coincidence, it's destined written in the DNA - blood cells have DNA. Also, what's up with Yoongi wearing a RED sweater marked LOVED all over xD . So in a way, the cactus symbolized love (like pointed out in the video) which is both his curse (he 'injured' himself. He had to sleep for a 100 years) and his salvation (the sun finally got together with the moon in the eclipse, finally found Prince Charming). Hopefully it's interesting. I'm a big Yoonmin shipper 💛 damn, I got really carried away while writing this xD.
It is, I really enjoyed reading this thanks, it is a fascinating take on it :) My only issues are that in korean prince charming '프린스 매력' has nothing to do with anything blue, as far as I know only Spain, Italy and few others refer to him as 'the blue prince'. Also there is the fact that Jimin looks way too sad when sitting in front of the moon, for that scene to represent salvation, it looks more like painful longing for something he can't get to reach. The real salvation for Jimin begins when the sun and moon finally unite in the form of the eclipse ( Jimin standing smiling in front of the open window as the earth quake caused by the eclipse breaks everything in that cage of a room he was in, is kinda of a strong indicator of that imo). You are totally right tough, about the blood on Jimin's finger being a subtle reference to 'DNA'. I was going to add it in the video but it would have gotten way to long. Other than what I explained, the droplet of blood, is indeed also a reference to the whole '' it's written in my blood, my DNA, and therefore my destiny '' theme that we find in the lyrics and video of 'DNA'. The serene acceptance Jimin shows in that scene in fact is also derived from the knowledge that, they are destined to be together and is therefore convinced that beginning a relationship can't possibly be a mistake. I should have added it maybe, but it would have gotten way too long :) I cut out some details and only focused on the main things. ... you know initially I had also thought about putting in the video that the cactus was also a phallic symbol with the reason and everything ( it totally is btw ) but then I was like, ... better to leave out the details ...especially THESE details :)

Wait I have another detail to add. You know how during the 2017 Festa was when Yoongi, JK, and Jin released their alternate version of "So Far Away"? I remembered that the cover of that post was a picture of a moon. Which definitely represents Yoongi. Not only that, didn't Yoongi say that Jimin did the guide vocals for "So Far Away"? Even before Suran. He even mentioned it was very good although Jimin kees denying it. Why is Yoongi keeping it to himself I wonder? Is it precious? Personal? This video, especially the Eclipse birthday part, has shaken me to the core. Isn't that the day he also stayed up with Jimin talking all night? And also when they said "You Know I Know". I've always been a Yoonmin shipper, but I was never too convinced that Serendipity was about them with just 'blue mold' and 'you know i know' as evidence (especially since yoongz changes colors so damn much lmao). I'm not too sure about that, because in the lyric video, both phrases "so far away" and "don't fall away" are there. However, I don't doubt that the original guide version (with Jimin) has slightly different lyrics, since most guides are recorded pretty early on for reference purposes, so it probably didn't include a lot of the final edits - lyrics included. And yeah, Yoongi kept Jimin's guide vocal recording to himself lmao. He once bragged about how good Jimin sounds in the guide version, so that's how fans found out. Watched this for the third time and it still gave me the chills. But now that I think about it, there is this lyrics that said “the universe has moved for us” or something, right? I think it was about the eclipse that happened during Yoongi’s b-day. I mean if, and IF, they really like each other, they must have known that it will really affect them badly. They must have known that such love was dangerous and risky, like the moon cactus. They might have thought that it was their fate that they will never be together. BUT then, the eclipse happened at the EXACT moment and then maybe they took it as a sign. Like maybe it was not a coincidence. That maybe, the universe just showed them a sign. A sign to fight. A sign from the universe that said “Hey, this is not a coincidence. This is already written for you. I've never been into shipping, but when I met BTS the first thing i saw was the relationship between Yoongi and Jimin, it was so strong. I felt something deep between them. My friend (also a BTS fan) always scolds me because I see Yoonmin literally everywhere but I seriously can't stop, I'm overwhelmed by their relations. In my opinion there's two options: it's either real or BigHit just made it up for attention becaude it's not a COINCIDENCE. I mean people loves drama after all. Just like 1week ago, I saw a theory of the Wings short films Logo. It was about how the circles of the Wings cover become one. Apparently the theory is, that there's gonna be Sub-units. Before Serendipity, Has anyone ever noticed that the 'Wine' composed/produced by Yoongi may be connected to yoonmin too? Its a break up song and the lyrics has a lot to say about the the subtle change of their behaviors. Jimin and Yoongi loves to drink wine. There has been several references. Yoongi was 24 when he made the song. The lyrics, especially the rap part was saying they had to choose to focus on careers or people are telling them not to be together but surely they couldnt get over eachother. Yellow is a color that usually indicates happiness Edit: They said yellow suits them most, because it means happiness, they find happiness in each other Another edit: I've actually learned most k-pop stars date in secret because their managers/ company heavily suggest not to date, and when I mean heavily suggest, I mean ban them from dating. May I add something about the cactus? I think the cactus has a "Sleeping Beauty" connotation.
Jimin pinched his finger with the cactus and it bled, similarly to what has happened to Sleeping Beauty.
We see Jimin in bed, closing his eyes and bringing the white sheets over his face.He goes to sleep just like in the fairy tale. This is further reinforced when Jimin is falling backwards, which could be interpreted as letting go and losing touch with the outside world. This phenomena corresponds falling asleep .Jimin is also seen disappearing from underneath the yellow blanket.
When Jimin emerges from that yellow blanket, he is met with the night sky, which has a blue hue rather than being completely dark. This is the moment Jimin wakes up from his slumber. In the fairytale, Sleeping beauty wakes up because the prince she was destined to be with, her Prince Charming, wakes her up. This is exactly what happens to Jimin. It is then that he , the Sun, meets the Moon, Yoongi: his Prince Charming, his blue mold.
There is an additional significance to the color blue. In Spanish, the expression "Prince Charming" is actually "Principe Azul" which means "Blue Prince" in English .Yoongi is therefore Jimin's Prince Charming. It is also worth noting that the only two colours that pop throughout this MV are the color yellow and blue , everything else is white or sort of grayscale, except for the blood dot. The color blue is also seen in the blue morning sky Jimin looks up to while in bed, perhaps yearning for his "Principe Azul" (could "Prince Charming" translate in a similar way in Korean?). The giant yellow ball AND the blue sky are seen in the frame before Jimin disappears underneath the yellow blanket, hinting at a future encounter.
The blood on Jimin's finger represents the love (as per the color red) that is awaiting in his destiny, and the sacrifice (in the form of hardships) it will take to experience that love. It ties in with the fact that Sleeping Beauty destined to pinch her finger and with DNA lyrics about love not being a coincidence, it's destined written in the DNA - blood cells have DNA. Also, what's up with Yoongi wearing a RED sweater marked LOVED all over xD .
So in a way, the cactus symbolized love (like pointed out in the video) which is both his curse (he 'injured' himself. He had to sleep for a 100 years) and his salvation (the sun finally got together with the moon in the eclipse, finally found Prince Charming).

It is, I really enjoyed reading this thanks, it is a fascinating take on it :) My only issues are that in korean prince charming '프린스 매력' has nothing to do with anything blue, as far as I know only Spain, Italy and few others refer to him as 'the blue prince'. Also there is the fact that Jimin looks way too sad when sitting in front of the moon, for that scene to represent salvation, it looks more like painful longing for something he can't get to reach. The real salvation for Jimin begins when the sun and moon finally unite in the form of the eclipse ( Jimin standing smiling in front of the open window as the earth quake caused by the eclipse breaks everything in that cage of a room he was in, is kinda of a strong indicator of that imo).
You are totally right tough, about the blood on Jimin's finger being a subtle reference to 'DNA'.
I was going to add it in the video but it would have gotten way to long. Other than what I explained, the droplet of blood, is indeed also a reference to the whole '' it's written in my blood, my DNA, and therefore my destiny '' theme that we find in the lyrics and video of 'DNA'. The serene acceptance Jimin shows in that scene in fact is also derived from the knowledge that, they are destined to be together and is therefore convinced that beginning a relationship can't possibly be a mistake.

I'm not too sure about that, because in the lyric video, both phrases "so far away" and "don't fall away" are there. However, I don't doubt that the original guide version (with Jimin) has slightly different lyrics, since most guides are recorded pretty early on for reference purposes, so it probably didn't include a lot of the final edits - lyrics included. And yeah, Yoongi kept Jimin's guide vocal recording to himself lmao. He once bragged about how good Jimin sounds in the guide version, so that's how fans found out. Watched this for the third time and it still gave me the chills. But now that I think about it, there is this lyrics that said “the universe has moved for us” or something, right? I think it was about the eclipse that happened during Yoongi’s b-day. I mean if, and IF, they really like each other, they must have known that it will really affect them badly. They must have known that such love was dangerous and risky, like the moon cactus. They might have thought that it was their fate that they will never be together. BUT then, the eclipse happened at the EXACT moment and then maybe they took it as a sign. Like maybe it was not a coincidence. That maybe, the universe just showed them a sign. A sign to fight. A sign from the universe that said “Hey, this is not a coincidence. This is already written for you. I've never been into shipping, but when I met BTS the first thing i saw was the relationship between Yoongi and Jimin, it was so strong. I felt something deep between them. My friend (also a BTS fan) always scolds me because I see Yoonmin literally everywhere but I seriously can't stop, I'm overwhelmed by their relations. Before Serendipity, Has anyone ever noticed that the 'Wine' composed/produced by Yoongi may be connected to yoonmin too? Its a break up song and the lyrics has a lot to say about the the subtle change of their behaviors.
Jimin and Yoongi loves to drink wine. There has been several references. Yoongi was 24 when he made the song. The lyrics, especially the rap part was saying they had to choose to focus on careers or people are telling them not to be together but surely they couldnt get over eachother.
