I just want another game where Tenchu's composer gets to make a whole soundtrack again
Yeah I sorely miss those games. It's a shame no one has attempted making a new game for the franchise.

That music bring back so many memories. Playing the PLAY station, at forbidden hours of the night, with a blanket stretched over my head and the 12 inch box tv screen to suppress sound and light in my childhood home, it was built in the 1920s, my room was at one time an office and it opened up to both the living room and the hallway, where the only bathroom and stairway to the master bedroom was located. I was the only one who slept down stairs, so stealing the playstation 1 from the living room was just a matter of opening 2 doors silently and not stepping on the floor boards with loose nails, something i had to do often, because The vcr in my room didnt play ps1 games, i tried and got in trouble for it when i was very young and very retarded. But it was at this young age of 6 and 7 that i learned the way of the thief and the assassin, hiding in plain sight, and traversing the shadows.

I know how you feel... I lost my dad on the beginning of the past year and I still remember everything like It was yesterday. I can't say I know how to help you on anyway because there's no magic words that can ease this pain, but there is one thing that we can do to them, in the memory of them, that is to keep their dreams and honor their whishes like It is one of our own, and remember them every single day of our lifes 😉👍
Right there with you man. Me and my brother ran through wraith of heaven back in the day and every time I hear the music I think of him. He would have loved Sekiro.

As soon as the music kicked in, a giant grin spread across my face. Goddamn, I miss Rikimaru and Ayame. They really need to get the team on a remake right meow. Rimmimaru needs a bone. Tatsumaru needs to decapitate something and Onikage needs to corrupt some ninja in the name of Lord Mei-Oh.
It’s crazy how much this game looks like Tenchu when you swap out the main character. Well now FromSoft knows how much people want Tenchu again so hopefully we’ll see some attention in the near future
Well, Sekiro is still the best spiritual successor of Tenchu. What we need is a remake
@@hafizo_kurosaki I would be in absolute tears if they retell the story of Tenchu again. From the legendary rivalry between RIkimaru to Onikage, to arguably the best story in Tenchu 2.
@@YuutoHiroshige Yeah, me too. Though I only played Wrath of Heaven, but I can say that Tenchu is one of the best Ninja game franchise ever made
@Synapse its funny you mention it cause Sekiro actually started out development as an entry in the Tenchu series but FromSoftware decided to change the games direction a little with its story and characters. Also apparently FromSoftware recently renewed the trademark for Tenchu so we may see it again in some capacity with hopefully a new game or at least a remaster or remake of the older titles. The demand for Tenchu is there so hopefully FromSoftware bring it back.

Shadow assassins soundtrack in this is everything and the rikimaru gameplay is phenomenal. Id pay top dollar to have this remodeled for ps4 and ps5

I remember as a little kid my uncle introduced me to this series and i fell in love with it to the point on my last day of school I dressed up as Rikimaru from the final title to appear with the fang mask and everything, I mean I loved the series that much I even had the title dark secrets that was released for the DS
Hope someone starts a petition. To make From Software start on a Remake of Tenchu with Skeiro gameplay Mechanics. The game would be epic. I can only hope that day comes.

Aaah! I love this so much! I miss Rikimaru, seeing how close Sekiro was to Tenchu made me buy it, all I ever wanted was a new (good) Tenchu game 😭 either that or an HD remake of the second game cuz that one is my favorite!

we got this instead of a new Tenchu. Make a new Tenchu already!
This game feels more like the original Tenchu with different game style but somehow have its similarities. The only thing missing is the female ninja partner and some stealth moves. So far, the character's story does look like a sequel to Rikimaru's untold death story I just wish they continue the story on PS4 or PS5 version they could also bring back Teshu and Rin to continue the story if ever Ayame dies while being possesd by Onikage and fighting Rikimaru.

Sekiro was meant to be a Tenchu game iirc. So it's really more akin to those stealth action games, than a true souls game.

So do I. We need Rikimaru, Ayame, Rin, Tesshu and 2 redemption Stories. Tatsumaru and Onikage. Heck.. I'd even include Zennosuke Otou's children and have them rebuild Muzen... the underground organisation for which Tesshu used to work for... the mixture between Realism and Yokai is simply unbeatable!

Sekiro stealth vibes ain't close to tenchu, not hating on sekiro (loved that game and been finished it) but tenchu is just everything, start from the feels, songs, emotion and stealth kill and especially it was my first game ever in PS2.

If sekiro lets you grapple anywhere and had a much bigger focus on stealth it would be perfect... You showed some promising things showcasing these mods but seems like it's impossible to be ghost still.

Sekiro's a great game, but the music felt rather forgettable all around, imo. None I felt hold a candle to Noriyuki Asakura's grand and distinctively epic compositions.
Ikr. I don't know why they change the composer instead of Motoi Sakuraba doing the soundtrack. Music from Dark Souls is memorable thanks to him

Mister Guy perhaps forgettable Isn’t the right word. I will say though that it didn’t feel as dramatic and have the same presence as the boss music for bloodborne, dark and demon’s souls
