I am from Sweden and we have not received any of this incomprehensible man from any of our traditional media, but me and my wife and our 2 sons have been listening almost exclusively to Dimash since 2 months, as we not only think he has a angel's voice. Without ever appearing like a real angel sent from God himself, as he mixes all the parts from dark clear tone to the very light tone and all the tones in between like no other we heard before. I hope his world tournament also comes to my country otherwise my family will see all his concerts in Germany. We really love Dimash. Thank you for posting this video with your own thoughts and feelings about his performance. Greetings from Sweden.

The difference between Vitas and Dimash seems to be to me that Vitas imitates a woman's, voice and pairs it with a man's voice. With Dimash, it's all his voice and there's no pretension. Just my take on it.

I had the privilege to see him live in Brooklyn NY in Dec.10th for his debut of his first Solo US concert. Dimash is even better in person,and so personable to his Dears. OMG I could go on and on, Dimash is the one in my life time, just to think he is now at age 25 . How much better he will get is anyone’s guess. Thank you for sharing your videos... Be blessed

I totally agree with you his presence is amazing. When I first saw this video I was blown away not by his language but how he performed it that it didn't matter if I understood all of his English. I could tell what he was saying and it threw me for a loop. I was so shocked to hear that song and how he displayed it I didn't know if I should cry all yell at the TV I need more. How I love that man.

I've followed Lara Fabian since the 90s and think her version is bone-chilling and dramatic. I love to watch that version and Dimash's in rotation and marvel at how each of them brings a special "something" to the performance.
Dimash loves Lara Fabian, she is one of his idols for a long time. They got to sing together recently, in a trio with amazing soprano Aida Garifullina. Look for it on RUclips "Te Amo Cosi". Dimash also sang Mademoiselle Hyde.

Dimash is a person living in music. He is passionately devoted to it. He dimashifies every song he takes and overdoes the original. Lara Fabian is a great singer and a great person to appreciate that (unlike Vitas and Lionel Ricci). She liked very much this performance of Adagio and congratulated Dimash (he actually won that Episode of the Singer contest). She supported him further when he started to sing other songs by Igor Krutoy written for Lara (from Zhivago album). And finally they sang together recently Ti Amo Cosi in trio with Aida Garifullina at Igor Krutoy’s jubilee concert! I was at that concert - it was fabulous! You can find fancams from that fantastic concert but soon there will be official TV version of the whole show.

I've listened to pretty much every Dimash song and I think this is certainly one of his best.

I think Vitas has a bunch of fans who, when Dimash made his advent, clustered protectively around him as if assuming that Vitas was under attack. There was, of course, no attack. I think they thought a big media squabble would increase Vitas' popularity, and it seems there were some fans of Dimash who also thought this would be a good idea. Dimash quickly put a halt to it, among his fans, putting out a statement to the effect that he and Vitas were friends and that he admired his voice, etc., and hoped for him to have continuing success. It was classic Dimash decency and goodness. I don't think Vitas took it as warmly as intended. I think he felt too threatened to be gracious. He has been through some difficult times, and has become somewhat bitter. There is one performance of his that I like very much, partly because the song brings up happy memories. It's "La Dona e Mobile." (My brother used to sing it when he was a little kid, from a 45 RPM.) If you look it up, you can see the video of Vitas singing it.

Lara has a huge bond with Igor Krutoy who is composing several songs just for Dimash. Both Lara & Dimash have sung a number of the same Igor songs including Adagio & at Igor's 65th birthday concert tour in Moscow Dimash & Lara Fabian & Aida Garifullina sang a trio of Ti Amo Cosi You can see on Instagram the messages between Lara & Dimash who were thrilled to finally do the long hoped for singing together. Dimash & Aida also sang a duet of Ulisse if you are interested.

Dimash - SHOW Must Go On
Thank you for another reaction! This is going to be a long comment, I apologize in advance, but Dimash is a case study :)
Dimash's freakish range is the result of a few critical components that make somebody "a genius":
1. Gifted instrument. This is not as rare as people think, but it's super rare to have a great voice WITH the rest of the stuff on this list.
2. Obsession with singing since a very young age (4 years old), which leads to SUPER hard work.
3. Music environment (both parents are professional singers)
4. Classical training (yes, it matters)
5. Singing soprano during his puberty.
This last component is what gave Dimash his alien range (of course, you need the appropriate instrument in your larynx too). Young boys are usually sopranos in range. While in puberty, the voice is undergoing changes and a drop in pitch, as the vocal chords get bigger. However, with proper training, and while still in that short window of puberty, if a boy maintains his vocal exercise, he can maintain much of his soprano range and end up with a freakishly wide one.
Dimash is the super rare case where ALL of the above components met in one person.
Also, I would like to point out that Dimash is A LOT more than just an insane ranged singer. I mean, you can indeed find people who actually CAN sing in Dimash's range. It's rare, but Dimash is not the only one with that range (you can find anything you want on the internet these days). However, nobody sounds as good throughout EVERY octave as Dimash. His timber and tone quality are so damn good, that even if he did not have the range he has, he would still be a world class singer.
The reason I'm saying this is that sometimes people get obsessed with his high notes and neglect other amazing elements in his singing. In some cases, people reacting to Dimash are just waiting for the high notes, ignoring what is happening earlier in the song. You are NOT guilty of such a thing, but I had to mention it, because I see you mentioned auto-tune in a couple of your reactions.
If you want numbers, I can tell you right now that Dimash can hit a C#5 in tenor quality (it's AMAZINGLY high for a tenor and he sounds AMAZING when he sings in B4 or above in tenor style). He can hit a Bb5 in full mixed belt (this is CRAZY high for belting, VERY few men can do this and it's hard even for women) and he can go up to a vibrating E6 in his falsetto (soprano quality in a very natural sound). For reference, in Opera 2 he reached a Eb6, just one key short of E6. From E#6 and above is whisper territory. He can go up to a D8 (as I'm sure you will discover in future reactions), but I don't really care about whisper notes, they are just for fun and it's just the cherry on the cake that Dimash can do this as well.
And yes, he changed key twice in Adagio and took the song one full tone above Lara's original version. By the way, Lara Fabian is one of Dimash's childhood heros (this is why he chose Adagio after all) and just a few weeks ago, they sang together in Moscow. The song is called "Ti amo cosi", you can add it to your list if you want, it's a beautiful song and it's really inspiring to see them sing together, thinking that Dimash was dreaming something like this since he was really young.
And once more, a request to react to "Ogni Pietra" from Arnau concert. To me it's one of the most important performances of Dimash! Here is the version with the best image, sound and lyrics:

@@wolfrock2270 Oh, and by the way, the part that I said about him singing soprano during puberty is something I saw mentioned in an interview. It's not an assumption.
Also, about the notes I said that he can reach in each range, it's what I've seen from his performances. There is a good chance he can go a bit higher (especially on his tenor) if he really tries. On another interview, he was asked what his actual full range was and he said "that's something I'd like to keep for myself". So, there's that :P
One last thing, if you watch Ogni Pietra, pay attention to his tenor climax. He is hitting a tenor C5 and it just sounds so amazing!! This is half a tone higher than the Nessun Dorma climax (probably the most popular opera song for tenors).

I had no idea they put text to this wonderfull peace off music. It is one off my favorit classical peaces. I belive Albenoni is the one who wrote this peace and that is sooo beautifull. Another great reaction bud, when he was in this comp he only spoke Kazakh and Russian, and like the Mandarin, he had to learn the different languages in the weeks rehearsal. Don't know if you've read his Wikipedia entry, it fills you in on a lot of facts about his background of 20yrs training … very interesting. You will see that he won a competition when he was 9 yrs old, in his home city for the piano and later 15/16 I think he won the Kazakh young musician of the year playing piano. I don't think you will find a suit like that, apparently the material was dyed to the exact pantone shade of the Kazakh flag !!! 👌👌👌😊😊

, согласен с Вами, хотелось только добавить : певцы/певицы (имеются в виду действительно серьезные, опытные вокалисты) и преподаватели вокала на акцент не очень обращают внимание , потому что петь в таком высоком регистре (не петь ноты, а петь СЛОВА) и не исказить звучание слова ну ОЧЕНЬ затруднительно, особенно если это не родной язык.
Не один раз встречал это в реакциях на песни Димаша : люди сами говорили "это скорее всего потому, что он поет ТАК высоко"
