Johnny Wong We learn first language (Swedish/danish/norweigan), second language (english) and third language (spanish/french/german (sometimes Italian too) and that’s the mandatory ones and then when you’re in highschool you can chose to learn another language or more if you’d like.

Whitney Angelie Also we don’t have voiceovers on tv shows and such and not always subtitles either so we hear it alot and watch english movies alot. I think that is one of the reasons why for example french natives aren’t as fluent or good at picking up the accent, because all of their tv stuff are dubbed :)

Love these two. Do most Swedes speak their own language when speaking to Danes? Or do they always switch to English? In ‘The Rain’ and every other Swedish/Danish film I’ve seen, they seem to both understand each other❣️❣️❣️
It depends, but Danish tend to be hard for Swedes to understand. The written language is really simular but it can be hard to comprehend by listening:)
