I think Flynn has always cared about her. Her future self was there when he was at his lowest. He got to know her through the journal, but wanted to in person as well. He has been protecting her the whole time. He had loads of times that he could have just killed her, but didn’t. The way he looks at her, especially recently has been so adorable! Like #garcy forever.

this is gorgeously and smartly made. the beginning really sets the tone for what is to happen with the rest of the video. the music change at finding out lucy's answer, and the memories or future scenes rather of them slowly bonding are delicately put together. the same scenes we already know are suddenly put in a different context. lovely! thanks for sharing!

I couldn't understand the Croatian, but I pasted the lyrics into Google Translate and it's a beautiful song, so thank you for providing them! ^_^ Goran Višnjić can sing?? I had no idea! Aww, wouldn't it be sweet if Flynn and Lucy got to sing together since we know Abigail Spencer can sing?? Another excellent job!! Making a compelling video with a song in a language that most people aren't likely to understand is no small feat, so this is impressive! I hope you'll continue to make these!! ^_^
I fell in love with this song when I first heard it. I don't understand much more than basic Croatian right now, but sometimes you don't need to understand words when a song emotes such a strong emotion such as this one. Goran doesn't sing much in this, but OMG when he does (the vodka/Garcia's bunk scenes in my vid). I would love to hear him actually sing a song in full. His voice is so sexy, so beautiful, especially in his native Croatian. My approach to vidding in a little known language... I let the emotion of the music and vocal tone dictate what the words meant (even though I don't understand it). I'm a linguaphile so it's likely I'll be doing more videos in the future with different languages, just have to find the right songs.
I'm a linguaphile myself!! ^_^ I know a smattering of French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese! I find them all so fascinating that I couldn't limit myself to learning just one, so I'm learning a little bit of everything with help from Duolingo, LOL. And my very favorite movie is Amélie, a fantastic French film! This song makes me want to begin studying Croatian because it truly is a beautiful language!! Even if foreign languages weren't one of my favorite things, I imagine I would still love this video because you don't need to understand it to feel how romantic it is! Thanks again for a lovely video! ^_^
French is my first foreign language! It owns my heart. I've also studied (class and on my own) German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Arabic, Croatian, Spanish - and next year I'm going to tackle Japanese. French is my best language though, the others I just need more time with them but I know enough to get by with basics or basic conversation. Duolingo is how I make sure that I'm exposed to most of those as often as I can. I had to find Croatian on the Mondly app though (and Arabic). I have fallen in love with Croatian, it's such a beautiful Slavic language, softer than Russian (but I'm having a hard time with pronouncing the Os because in Croatian it's always an O sound, but in Russian sometimes it makes an A sound and with words that are similar that causes me problems LOL
Though I'm not fluent in anything but English at the moment, French is my best foreign language as well, thanks to Amélie! ^_^ It is also just about the most euphonious thing I've ever heard, so it's definitely a fun language to learn! Almost everything sounds better in French, don't you think? :) I do believe that you'll enjoy Japanese!! It's my second-favorite to learn! I've watched some anime with English subtitles, so that helps a good deal, but I personally find the Asian languages particularly rewarding because they ARE so challenging. French, Spanish, and German are relatively simpler because they are similar to English in many ways, but when I figure out how to say things in Chinese and Japanese (and even Russian, for that matter), I feel so excited and proud of myself that I'm evidently smart enough to be remembering these difficult things!! ^_^ I've been largely self-educated for a long time (it's a long story), and languages are one of my favorite things to study just for the sheer pleasure of it, but of course, I also love the thought of being able to communicate effectively with someone in their own language, should it come to that one day! I've always had a very good memory, which helps a lot! I will definitely need to check out the Mondly app! ^_^

I love the movie Amélie too! Have you seen L'Auberge Espagnol? That's so funny too (also starring Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris), or L'Arnacoeur (Romain Duris et Vanessa Paradis). Those three are my favorite French movies of all time. It is so cool when a language finally just sticks and works properly. Right now German and Arabic are giving me the biggest problems, but probably because since Timeless season 2 premiered I haven't spent much time studying so that's really my own fault LOL No worries about going off on a language tangent, I love it! ;)
If you ever make another video like this, I'd love to see one with the song (Where Do I Begin) Love Story! I've always thought it sounds exactly like what Flynn would say about Lucy in a song.

He doesn't sing, just speaks words at the part when Lucy goes to Garcia's room, up until she leaves
