Thanks for the review I set my one up today , Extremely nice quality , no problem whatsoever with the poles or the slightly shorter rear leg I rolled my one up slowly on the floor after use and it went in the Bag fine . I only put the bare Bivvy and the storm poles in the bag , if I’d have tried to fit a ground sheet and the added front in the bag it would have been hard to do ! I agree that they should have made it 6 inches taller and id have added mozi infills to the corners of the solid front . It does however have bonuses. If you purchase either of the extensions they cover the entire Bivvy and they have window openings in exactly the same places as the main bivvy . Not just a partial overwrap that only covers three quarters of the Bivvy . It has Brilliantly designed strap tensioner to all of the main poles including the peg fastening points . You can open the windows from inside and outside with the internal or the external zips . The HH is 20.000 so incredibly water resistant . I’d honestly say that once your actually in the Bivvy there’s plenty of room , a tall person may have to crouch excessively to go in or out So I’d recommend that they try one for size before committing to buy . I have the skull cap and the 0.5 extension and I’m really happy with it I’m 5 ‘ 10” 13 stone
I love it mate yes there's a couple of things I'll moan about but I'll find faults with any out there personally I still believe this is the best on the market and I've looked hard at all of them but for what you actually get for your money is great and packed full of features,I would of liked a split ground sheet where you can pull it back for muddy parts but at least this way I know am not gonna flood like most of the others out there
Cheers mate am happy with it to be fair it's not dead money in my opinion,to be fair if it lasts like the solar bed has it will get it's money's worth,I know the bag is a bit crap but got my eye on the omc agg bag that will solve the main issue
They don't do a winter wrap mate,to be fair the fabric is thick enough to not need it got the skull cap what's not shown in this vid, thinner Bivvys need it fair play one to help sun uvs in summer and that extra layer over winter, they do a extension works same as the skull cap but then you have the extension on the front extra,I'll talk about it in my next vlog show people how it preforms on the bank in live action ment to be out next week in crap weather
I believe all flat backs do because it's the shorter rib what gives the profile but yes there a faff I'll get used to it I know I will, still don't set up as fast as the old jrc mind and that's still a great bivvy, just wanted something more premium and blackout due to trying to nap in the day wasn't a way forward with the old one was like trying to sleep with car head lights aimed at me
I had a traker years ago one of the original armos with winter wrap used to freeze up on the inside lol since then I have never gone back but just hear people moan about poles snapping etc,the avid Evo was my first choice but after speaking to ad about the poles being to long or the fabric short that put me of then I was back to the drawing board, looked at the titan hide put was put off with the ground sheet being bigger than the actual bivvy I seen one issue with that rain runs of the bivvy on to the sheet then straight in your bivvy,I don't believe theres a single bivvy on the market what don't have it's fawls we all have are own personal touches and things we see a awkward, gotta say Paul I love it mate yes there bits here and there but there always will be
@camocarpycuttzy had the same with freezing inside on the Fix Supa Brolly, the Sonik AXS are a good shout too, had 1 for about 5yrs with wrap, the V2 looks half decent too, heard good things.
The sonik one want much difference to what I had apart from flat back one of the main key features I wanted was blackout this time round but I agree the sonik axs is a great bivvy for its price
It is good mate am happy with it otherwise I'd send it back,I've had a mix from solar products but the bigger products like the beds and pods etc have proven more than worthy and I can see this doing the same, all going well they see this as feed back not as negative feed back but something to learn from and addresses the minor issues, I see few issues one the swinging arms what could be fixed with a strap or magnetic clip, the velcro top change it to a web design or button clip, deffo change the bag to bigger like the omc agg bag as thats gonna be my first change even tho there sending a new one for free, the pole on the back is pretty standard with flat back designs so all will have that anyway, everyone knows am honset in reviews and say it as it is as am not paid by companys to sell there products so can do so this is why most vids only go on about good this and that but not the ugly, this bivvy is like the old ones what used to last time over time and will be in many of my videos and am looking forward to it
No mate always had the standard ones where when a light is on everyone can see ya,there just bad for letting sum light in during the day am at that age now where I like my granddad naps
Thanks for the review

what about a winter wrap great in the summer but surely a winter wrap is a need

The fox fronteir has that short middle rib at the back too mate its a pain in the arse

Jason get a no agg bag ….just got a Nash hide xl camo it fits in a no agg bag with all the infills and ground sheet
Not in to omc as I don't like the bloke but they do come up with some good useful products and this bag looks a winner
I have the same bivvy and can fit the infill, groundsheet, skull cap and my bivvy mat in the bag but you need to roll the bivvy up tighter.
Cheers buddy am sure I'll find away but I am disappointed in the bag all ready to say the zip popped on just unzipping it for the first time
solar make some very good products unfortunatelly this is not one of them wont be buying one
