I started learning it 2 weeks ago and I want to become really good at it since I will need solidworks for my future job for 3D modelling, but I don't know how long will it take until I learn to become at least being near to a professional modeller? Also are there any models for advanced users I can practice? Since these are for beginners only?

use 3 point arc. I also dunno how he using shortcut key to do that. For me, I draw straight line first, and then click 3 point arc to draw the half circle

Just go back to the same point using the command line and it will automatically convert to arc.
