I wish I could wear makeup. I'm 63 and haven't used it since my 40s. I just stopped. Now I wouldn't have the confidence to do my makeup but I love to watch you do your so beautifully
Oh no! I had a major wobble that I was getting too old to bother when I was in my late 40s…I got over it watching Star and another Goth You Tuber who is 64, wears TONS of makeup and looks amazing!
I felt old because I stopped bothering, please try again, I was making a massive mistake giving up on my crazy Goth makeup, I realise that now.

It looks amazing! I do know the feeling of having hooded eyes and not being able to do most of the eyeliner designs. I did discover something that is a little cheat for people with hooded eyes, but it also requires practice. It's a drag queen method some call it a false lid, others call it lid reshaping. The pros of this method allows you to get away with eyeliners that hooded eyes would normally hide. The cons when creation a false lid it also requires the brows to be raised. The way I do it sometimes I'll raise the lid to the brow bone just above the brow itself. then right at the top of the eyebrow i'll trace it to the desired brow style. However what is a outline of the upper brow is actually now a lower half. then i'll just draw the new upper brow above it. I don't do it too often because sometimes it'll agree with me sometimes it wont, it mainly depends on the makeup color choices. I do it mostly for my drag but I have tried it a few times with my everyday goth makeup but not too often. but it does take a lot of practice because you gotta figure out what type of higher lid style will work, how far you can take the lid, and where will it take the eyeshadow because it will change the eyeshape as well. people say it's easy but for me not exactly and I'm still learning.
