Need a mission to play for? Add the Wolf Extract mod. Will start with a map but will need to find a military radio. Once you have the radio, you will have to work your way to the designated extract zone. I found it is more rewarding if you add the Qualify to Extract mod. With that one, you will need to find 3 journals in heavy zombie infested locations prior to being able to activate the extract. Each journal can spawn in 5 different places so you will have to do some searching. My first run took me 3 months, 11 days, and 13 hours to complete with 91k zombie kills. I'm going to fire it up again to see if I can "win" faster on the next run. Good luck.
Potential spoiler... Remember that helicopters attract zombies. Be prepared. Also, my original reply should be "9,100 kills" not 91,000. Blame my chicken pecking.
@@fido95 Absolutely, the heli event is usually what prematurely ends my run. Thanks for clarifying the kills, I literally thought about while playing and looking at my 4k kills thinking, "How...?" Assualt rifle and a lot of fire? lol
Just started playing coop on a private server with my friends and its been just so much fun. And dying. Lots and lots and lots of dying because they are new to the game, and it is just comedy gold. You haven't been welcomed into project zomboid until you spawn in a house full zombies.
@@zombiehampster1397 that’s awesome! I did a co-op video months ago with a friend who’s never played, he died multiple times, multiple characters in a one week time span 😂
Imo, the best zombie game would be Project Zomboid but with the NPCs (even if they stay at base and don't act or move) and the narrative of State of Decay, save and recruit Npcs to built and upgrade your base, survive and build a way to leave by traveling through Louisville. Could be cool.
I cant believe you skipped past the best part of the tutorial, where he just says "good f'ing luck, mate" and you get trampled TT. otherwise, a really insightful video
Graphics isn't necessarily bad. It's actually quite immersive IMO. I like how eerie it is to look at silhouettes of zombies behind the fog or the atmosphere when it's raining really hard. It just looks bad compared to modern graphics. But it's far from bad IMO. It's like saying Minecraft graphics is bad because it's blocky and pixelated, guess what, that's the point. Not saying it couldn't be any better. More realistic graphics is just going to be a bonus and not a vital part of the game as it is.
@@intotheunknown21 no your definitely right, but just at a first glance it looks like old cheap graphics, and you don’t get a feel for the immersion or atmosphere until you actually play, at least I didn’t.
Good review, great pace and tone! Keep up the work!
