- update: For all who yet to see this translation and ones who are rewatching it. I made update video with few lines of translation fixed since I made small mistake in this one. The translation of special Drama CD added to Mikleo's pillow in Japan. It's fanmade translation and I won't put my life on line saying all it's 100% correct but I worked hard for it to be translated as close to original meaning as possible. From fan for fans of sormik. Part 2 will be coming soon.
This will always be my favorite tales of game.

No worry, I'm not forgetting part 2, but I didn't have much time in this week to work much on it, so it might still take me some time (but I have weekends free and I will try to move on with it today ;) )

Well, I can understand what thes are saying, but I didnt know that Zestiria had Drama CDs :D Im so happy that I found this.
you welcome, those are not only one Drama cds from Zesty. There is Two more, one when in Ladylake is fastival that looks much like Spain festival (and we have playfull tomato fight RosevsDezel and SoreyvsMikleo, bull chasing Mikleo because his capes, Sorey riding that bull ealier etc. it's amazing Drama cd and you can find it on youtube. THere's second one where they change Sorey clothes to hide him from people. It's on youtube too. Those both aren't so much sormik shipy as those I translated but great too. There is also 40 min long skit which was added to 1st season of anime, compare to anime it's more faithful in feeling to game. I know ther's also second skit like that but it was added to limited second season blu-ray and I never seen it or managed to get it. I only know from PV that Zesty team is cooking during this skit. I wanted to translate 1st season skit but it's much work... I love Spain Drama cd but I don't understand everything so translation would have holes and I don't like that XD
karechan wait, so a random bull can see Seraphim? If he is chasing Mikleo because he has blue capes. That’s got to be weird, since bulls are known to be drawn to red capes. That’s got to be a weird Drama CD, that I wished had an English translation, so I can understand what’s going on.

This is very interesting. Do these drama CDs take place during the series?
Probably. Most of Tales drama cds are during series (I think vesperia and abyss had ones like that, I've listened to them long ago and only once so I'm not sure.) For sure Graces and Eternia dramas were direct continuations. Other two Zestiria dramas take place more or less during story too (beside matter that going a little against canon, meaning: Sorey doing silly chores for towns people and it goes against Lailah's teachings. Probably creators didn't have better idea how put Sorey in Mint like costume otherwise XD. I like Spain-like festival drama cd more)
@@karechan Lol, I see. I just finished watching the anime on the recommendation of my friend and I loved it. I'm now reading the manga and I've made playing the game on my to-do list as soon as school is out. I want to see how all 3 versions compare to each other.
@@Elly3981 Well, to put it in most delicate way - I don't like anime. I never seen more unfaithful game adaptation. First episodes until Berseria episodes are fine and like 70% accurate with game story but rest is like 10% accurate in matter of characters and plot. Glad to hear you going to play game and I hope you will like it. At least Sorey cares for Mikleo there =_=...

@@Elly3981 Well surely not as much as in game when you enter second season. In game He's proud of Mikleo's achievements, he doesn't want to worry him, he rejects Mikleo becoming sublord because he's worried too much, he calls Mikleo "sweet soul" one time (after Mikleo tries to cheer him out) causing Mikleo.exe to stop working, they have tickle fights, and many many small, cute, stuff that happens during game. As far as I watched anime second season DezelxLailah fight just made me "nope" and I only read how rest of anime went but dynamic of characters in anime and game it's total different thing, only names and looks of characters are the same.
Here will come some personality moments of characters, if you don't worry of small spoiler, you can read:
Dezel had REAL motive to die, he was quiet, animal loving seraph, not pervert, that was Zaveid's job. Edna was sassy, teasing and funny character like big sister to Mikleo, Lailah pretty, crazy, talking some silly things or puns team mom, Rose was cool, badass who is afraid of ghosts and she's helping Sorey to grow, Mikleo was sassy, easily to embarrass and tease, very hardworking. He could roast Sorey a little sometimes but if he heard people laughing at Shepherd, he was angry as hell. And Sorey and Mikleo always rush to each other when something happens (Ehem Rolance ;) ) . Sorey is very caring about everyone, he loves ruins, he writes bad poetry and he was like "Eh, there is nothing to do more but kill this person/hellion, let's just hide body for no one to see". And Sorey and Mikleo backstory was more important, shocking and plot important. Manga shows it's most close to what happened in game, but it misses clues about what happened in past that we see during game.
I was very disappointed by anime. Well you saw it first so no surprise you like it. I liked it too until Bersy episodes even when they stared to skip really great parts of story, but end of season 1 and season 2 were totally pain to my Zesty loving heart. They cut out important characters, added that idiotic Shepherd dies- squire dies plot in second season to create fake tension since they cut out all story tension, war, characters death, constant situations when Sorey or rest had to sacrifice something in order to save world. Dragons... oh dragons... but well I rant too much already.

Sorry but for all stories, games mangas adaptations I saw in my life Zesty anime is only one that broke me so much at its time.
But I hope you will have fun with game and well I recommend you to watch Zestiria OVA it's almost 1-1 adaptation of beginning of Zestiria beside firework part. I really love it :)
