Context wise, its great. The ninjas have a code of honor so they give John who's already exhausted, a small leeway.
Action wise, yeah some stuff can be improved. Maybe they could came back since among the ninjas they're the only ones survived. Maybe bring Iko Uwais along eh?😏😂

Keanu is 54 years old. And he's not a professional martial artist. So his slowness is understandable. Just appreciate his efforts for making a great movie.

Make Iko iwais the Main villain for chapter 4 ! Great film !

Endgame is its own thing, aliens, superheroes, timetravel, pretty good story, other ridiculous stuff, its different fields. Just learn to enjoy both like a normal person.

Just opposite. Because of such boring and idiotic fighting scenes I've stopped watching such movies. Just watch at 1:55 - 1:59 - what the second guy is doing at the time when Keanu is fighting with the first one? The same at 2:08 to 2:17. Why at the 1:48 a guy even doesn't try to defend himself? It is so stupid. And boring.

Having Yayan and Cecep fight John Wick is just wonderful! What an awesome fight! Regarding the speed, it's realistic, as JW has to fight 2 highly skilled guys who were much smaller, when he was already exhausted from earlier fights. I could watch this over & over again countless times!

these Indonesians, awesome, I once saw raid the redemption and it had jaw dropping actions comparable to John wick movies.

For me, The Raid Redemption is the gold standard by which all action movies are to be judged. I haven't any of the John Wick movies. But if any of them are comparable in any way to that movie, then that's saying a TON.

Love the way Chad explained about the building budget of the glass house. It was 4M that he needed to fight with the Studio's financing control. 4M is huge for JW budget, that was what he said. This makes JW franchise and its director even more inspiring than before. With Hollywood budget nowadays are all 100M and more, while JW was 20, JW2 was 40 and JW was 55 (all marketing campaign budget included) but JW's scale of great actions, great cinematography, great production design and great editing+sound mixing is BEYOND BELIEF. Chad already showed us if you have talents you can utilize the small budget to the maximum potential.
And look at JW3 opening weekend gross income, it already covers half of the whole movie budget. Next week will be break even. And after that, plus DVD, Cable, streaming, all is profit. Kaching!

That`s part of his style teachings, there are hundreds or even over a thousand styles of Silat and not every silat styles do that, but in his style smile is part of the philosophical teachings to show good will/ good intention to resolve the matter peacefully without further fighting.

No. He did retire 5 years ago. It was something along the lines of "He's been retired for 5 years". Your line don't make sense or else that was a script mistake cause he was retired for 5 years according to the script but OK... maybe the translation isn't exact, but the fact of the matter is, what the script meant was what's written down on screen.

We didn't call someone who master of pencak silat as "ninja", it was japanese term... I don't understand why the producer use the word "ninja" for them... In Indonesia, we call them "pendekar" or "jawara" or just "pesilat".

If iko uwais was the leader, then they would have use their own country term such as 'Pendekar'. Also the names you mention are a honorable title for pencak silat players, why do you want to dirty the form of art with assassination, no? :)
Its ok, it just a movie. We have movie with pencak silat martial art long time ago, not now. I think I just being happy that some producer apreciate it much and make The Raid and it was globally known now. There are a term for pencak silat's master, that is my point, so more people know that. But I kinda agree about the Japanese leader that you mention, so they are ninja who use silat 😁

Just saw it and I have to say: JOHN WICK 3 HAS MADE UP FOR ENDGAME AND GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8 COMBINED. So much fun, absolutely delivered. Been a long time since I could say that about a movie.

Let's see... I think Thor and Hulk were ridiculous, like they were there for comic relief and nothing more. I read a critique that Hemsworth seemed like he was playing Thor as a spoof SNL skit...that's dead on. There were inconsistencies, like how "Earlier Thanos" somehow was more powerful without the Gauntlet than with it (see Thor vs. Thanos combat in IW compared to the finale fight in Endgame). And if you're going to cram every character into that same fight, the scene needed to be twice as long--as it was it was just a checklist. Capt. Marvel didn't really fill a purpose and is basically like Superman-way too overpowered compared to everyone else...yet, gets slapped around by Earlier Thanos. The "Estrogen Brigade moment" was sooo contrived and a literal groaner: people in the theater actually groaned out loud.
In general, it felt rushed in parts, sluggish in others. And unlike IW, in Endgame, I just didn't care. No real "Thor Enters Wakanda" types of moments that made people cheer and get invested into the movie...Capt. America summoning Mjolnir was close, but then you get Thor yelling "I knew it!" like a bro right after and that killed it.

Pencak silat was Indonesian martial arts. In Indonesia, we call them (master of pencak silat) "jawara" or "pendekar".
And ninja/shinobi was from Japan term for a fighter. And they didn't use pencak silat.
