If you bothered to ask someone who was completing Shadowland EVEY week since it came out, you’d know that that someone (me) only ever pulled TWO ctps out of these chests…. The boxes do NOT drop them.
"The only way to have money is not to spend it". Yup. For new player and and from the perspective of someone who started a fresh account when it comes to this the idea is to select a goal, a financial one as in real life and focus on that. For this example I am at the 6 star Quicksilver goal currently to unlock Apocalypse then the Legend missions thereafter as acquiring Gor is a standing goal. I need 1 6 Star Antimatter, the odds of just acquiring it are terrible (ironically one needs WBL to have a chance but needs this to unlock WBL) so as it stands the total Gold for this is 7,000,000 adding the cost of the antimatter and of the level up. Not that difficult factoring in daily rewards, typical earnings and dispatch yields. A day or two say? Of course the saving part is what is important. And unlocking all that then leads to higher earnings thus higher savings for the next goal. Basic economics and budgeting really when you think about and knowledge of math and knowing the economic system in this game is titled and rigged. I often equate this to a Keno machine as much in the game resembles it especially given line odds. When it comes to things like Shadowland, which as a recent player I'm not at the point to earn tokens yet but regardless I just see this one as free and optional stuff. Like Cosmic Core, it's just take or leave additional stuff and at worst crap you can sell off if you want for a little bit of Gold. However in this case you are still correct. Saving is better than spending as harsh a mistress as that is. But you know this in real life as well, you even said this outright in one of your videos. That if people come into additional money they should save it which is true. And the next step is invest, wisely of course. "It takes money to make money". Which means there's one more thing needed and it is patience because time is a factor here then. Which all is a good mindset as well for video games that are dependent on in-game economics and acquirements. Or again, just say no thanks and that's perfectly fine. It is fine to allocate time. And resources like Energy and Gold. I do it everyday I log into it myself. Somedays I am just going to do the Rift for example. I'll open it if any other players want it but my resources are allocated elsewhere. Shadowland is absolutely like that for me. It costs nothing yet it does cost time. Usually I do a stage if it's called for elsewhere. Otherwise if I am logged in a make a single run on the last day before it refreshes. And just get some extra crap of course. If I'm not feeling it or don't feel I have the time to spare, like I'd rather be doing something else, likely something event associated, well no loss either way.
Yesterday i combined the fragments from the story mission and i got some lucke I did ×44 for the cards and 45 for OB and 178 for ctp and i got 1 P card and 2 OB and 3 ctp
I keep forgetting shadowland to be honest. I do the 25 batch and done lol I need gold soooo I'll probably just do the chest. I think I'm at around 30mil Heres to hoping they rework the shadowland chest. Maybe IF netmarble is feeling generous to add t4. Mats. I'll keep fooling myself. Why not. At the end of the day it's just a game.

In my opinion, you totally spend your Support Tokens. I'm at 8.5 million of them, and that's with buying UUK pretty much everyday. So you having 'only' a million of them feels like, you like to splurge at the shop. 😂
If they allowed first clear collecting say 4x a year shadowlands would actually feel rewarding for grinding 100+. Right now its more of a grind for a minimal chance at something gold, or saving tokens after hours of mindless grinding. I only run it now if im needing gold THAT badly, or bio selectors for non support shop bios that arent premium.
One way they could bring life to this game is introduce a boss that starts off as a world boss legend and then transitions into a challenging gbr, should be difficult enough so bigwhales find it challenging
Hell, I just want T4 mats that are currently Dormammu only to be available through non co-op content. I don't mind work8ng hard to clear something. I do mind sitting trying to get a run where either I don't get booted when people want a carry, don't get "disconnected from server" when a team member gets dc'ed, don't drop queue when I get an invite only for the spot to be unavailable when I click, etc. I won't spend hundreds of $$$, and I don't have the time or patience to spend hours waiting on one co-op facet of a mobile game for T4 mats.
Shadow land is way to much of a grind for me to care about the so-so rewards.
