Just play the game however is fun for you. If you want to get the mod then just do it. Youre the one playing it, we are just here to watch.😀 Happy New Year!
Since you own a baler you could rent a front mower and go around the farm mowing and bailing the meadow grass areas as you go. You probably have enough meadow grass around the farm to keep the goats fed for a while.
Always a great video. Don't forget to Get the Production Point Leasing mod, where you can lease the oil mill production that's already on the map. Process your canola into oil, as you'll make more money from the canola oil. Get it soon so you can get the canola all processed into oil, for it's ready to sell at the best price, which, if I remember correctly, I think it's in November that the canola oil price is at its best.
Personally I prefer to earn the cash and buy this stuff rather than go for the cement factory that is very slow. You loose a thousand per product so the total cost is 150k cheaper than the buildings.
In real life you can approach a production/manufacturer with money and a desire to have a product produced exclusively for you, be it a week of cheese wheels or nine months of wooden hobby horses, so I see no problem with using a lease to have a product produced just for your farm. Another great episode, thanks so much for sharing.
This is my thinking as well, it's crazy to me that you cannot use these production facilities without buying them. My only complaint with the leasing mod is that it seems a little cheap, seems to be like .5% of the purchase price? Could maybe be 1% or 5% per month.
I’m going to say definitely lease the productions chainsaw that new oak forest will look amazing once those oak trees 🌳 grow I think forestry is definitely a big money maker because you seem to be making lots off money from the saw mill and planks and beams this is definitely working very well in the series
I think the leasing mod ruins it because it’s so cheap, it’s beyond unrealistic. But it’s your playthrough, so up to you. The interest only loans are built into the game for a reason though. On this map you need to build the cement production and the debris crusher anyway, which will set you back £400k+. As others have said, more cost effective to just buy the units from the warehouse and take the £1k hit each time. Spread over the build duration you will barely notice it. Other option. which I did, was take out the loan and buy both. Paid it off fairly quickly via the sawmill products though. If you do go down that route, Field 11 is a really nice flat bit of land near the temple that is cheap and fits both productions nicely with room for more.
Do what you want of course, but in all honesty you'll lose more money by purchasing the cement bags and roof tiles from the warehouse than you will by having a giant loan and buying some land (suggest plot 11) and placing the debris crusher ($99k) and cement factory ($370k) and then paying the loan off in time. You will make more money at the temple each month than you owe on the loan by some distance.

Very well said!
Happy New Year!
If there are mods available to use in game then that’s not cheating. Play the game the way you will enjoy it most. We are just here for the ride
You can use *available* mods to add the maximum amount of money, which is cheating. So that’s not really a valid statement

The temple will need 54 pallets of cement bags and 96 pallets of roof plates. Happy new year!

I like this, thank you for the video man

If you do a grass/hay bailing contract, do you still get to keep the excess bales?
No, you can't keep the bales other than the leftovers in the baler at the end. At best you can gain a 99% full bale per contract.
Save money and buy cement factory. Add money and place a factory och then lease is cheating.
