But it turns out that Lei and Jun as a team gets him Kazuya and Bruce as his sub-boss fight. Very well thought out, as Bruce and Kazuya are partners in the canon story. tl;dr: He picked Lei and Jun to get Kazuya and Bruce as the Sub-Boss fight. Well played!
