Thanks H. Yes lovely to see the smaller tractors doing just as good a job as any modern machines, with that lovely stone barn in the background and the lovely lush fields it was like travelling back in time. It’s the only Massey 355 I know working round here! Cheers David.
Hi David. Yes really nice tractors, really well looked after. It’s one of my favourite farms to visit, not just because of the great machinery but also the lovely traditional setting with the old stone barns. Thanks again David, cheers Dave.
Love it Dave. Superb. Great to see the wee 135 on the bale trailer and doing an admirable job. But hardly surprising as they always did punch way above their weight.
Thanks Kieran. Yes they’re a gutsy little tractor, far more powerful than you expect. Six silage bales on a trailer isn’t a light load but not even a puff of smoke as it pulled up the incline past the barn. Throughly enjoyed filming this one, so much so I actually went back twice! Cheers, Dave.
@@donnellykieranj Yeh iconic is definitely the status for the 135 Kieran. Most farms around my way had at least one when I was just young in the 70s. It’s also the tractor model I learned to drive on, passed my test on and led small hay bales on when I was a teenager so seeing this one took me back 40+ years and brought back those happy memories!
I love to see those older machines still doing an honest day’s work too Paul. More than capable of more modern machinery and probably a lot more economical too. It was a beautiful setting, the icing on the cake for me! Cheers, David.
Thank you Jacob. It was fantastic to watch those older machines, that and the lovely old stone barn was almost like going back in time! Many thanks my friend, cheers David
Thanks Alan. I love to see the older and much smaller tractors that are still more than capable of a good day’s work. Just being nosey but which part of the world are you from? Cheers, David.
Excellent video David, nicely put together and edited, wonderfull selection of tractors working there, great to see the older tackle still doing a fine job.
Many thanks Steve. I jumped at the chance to film this one, not often do I get to see the old timers out in the fields so wasn’t going to miss out here! Cheers, David
nice to see older tractors working David they are better to do a job than the newer ones in my mind but the young lads would not agree they just laugh when they see our 35 tedding grass with a Farr centipede but there is no better job than that for me .
Totally agree with you on that one Ray. The younger generation has been spoiled with air-con, cab suspension, clutchless changes, etc but the modern machinery although bigger and fast on the roads doesn’t do any better job than the old timers. Thanks for watching and the great comment. Cheers, David
Great video David it’s great to see the smaller tractors working what a lovely setup they have never seen a 355 before

Great video nice to see 135 at work
Thanks Davy. Yes the little 135 still very much in use since it arrived new on the farm 45 years ago. Cheers, David.
Great video and lovely tractors at work 🚜🚜

Great. Good to see a 135 that's not just for scraping!
It certainly is Alan. Had a message to say they’d be working in the fields, too good to say no too! Cheers, David
Great video as always keep the videos coming
Thanks John. Been out filming over this last week so once I get them edited I’ll be posting them. Cheers David
Another lovely video. A nice touch with the chair alongside the wrapper.
Isn’t it Rob and I wouldn’t blame the fella for having a sit down in between bales! Cheers, David

@@davidwinthrop7077 they're so iconic. There's a reason they sold in their thousands. My bro in law has a great one. A real minter.

Judging by the swivel chair, someone has moved their office outside. 👏
And who could blame them! Nothing beats an open air office in a lovely setting! Cheers David
