Review & 3 min Strip & Rebuild Hope Pro 5 Hubs

We just got these stunning bright red Hope Pro 5 hubs launched in 2023. The first thing we did was rip them apart.
They still feature the 17x28x7 bearings and a 15x28x7 bearing in the free hub.
The hubs are available in almost every size combo including 142, 148 and 157mm, they will fit Shimano HG and Microspline Freehubs, and the SRAM XDR.
Tools you will need
Unior Hub Doctor
Small flat screwdriver or pick.
soft face hammer
Bering Press with 28mm over axle kit. We used the wheels manufacturing kit, but Hope make their own too.
The new hub uses 6 Pawls for 108 points of engagement.
