For example, if they secured their lanyard at platform level, approximately 5 feet below their D-ring, they would be risking a 5-7'ish FFD. Some SRL's don't permit a FFD but if they do, that could significantly increase the clearance that's needed.

So I see on type b soil the first horizontal bench at the bottom looks to be doubled. Why is that a 8’ horizontal bench?
