  • In this video, I go into a detailed review/demonstration on my Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro that I have been exceptionally satisfied with. I complete a step by step instructional video on how to sight in the rifle with Pulsar's one step zero, complete a video walkthrough on most of the features and show you how you can control the scope from your phone or have someone watch along while you are hunting.

    I thought to zero , after you shoot . Go to zero profile freeze on center of tape , move x to bullet hole and then once on poi you press menu button and save coordinates

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  5 месяцев назад

      You may be correct. I have not done it in a while.
      What I recall is:
      Zero Profile
      Shoot
      Freeze and move
      Shoot to verify

      Your shoot . See where bullet hole is . Go to zero profile and move x center and freeze. Then move X to bullet hole and press menu to SAVE COORDINATEs .

    Its a beautiful optic for sure, but the real question is, would it stand up in a combat scenario such as bugout or SHTF situations?

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  5 месяцев назад

      It would always need a power source for sure. Not sure if it has anything for emp.

    • @ChargerusPrime
      @ChargerusPrime 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@reviveoutdoors4him not sure emp would be an issue, but you can insulate against EMP waves with a couple solutions. I'm starting to wonder if I'd be better off going with one of the trail 2 lrf xp50s even though they're not made anymore. Which is extremely stupid in my opinion.

      @@reviveoutdoors4him I've thought about that, but I don't want binoculars. I want something that can actually be put on something that can reach out say.. 1100 yards if I need it to while also be used on my AR. Basically a pretty much do all thermal scope.

      I love the sightmark quick detach mount. Almost every few days I switch between my daytime Vortex scope and Pulsar thermal and they always stay zero’d.

    I noticed after you did the sighting that the reticle and PIP were off center. Does that stay that way or does it correct or center sometime later? 🙏🏼

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  Год назад

      It’s always off center, drives me crazy, but it holds zero exceptionally well, so ultimately that’s what matters. Lol

      Yes, Pulsar came out with a firmware update for the scope to work with the app for ballistics. I have not updated mine yet for this but have read about it.
