    I'm just sobbing like a baby. Maddie please don't give up. You have Michael as a friend and ytou have me as a friend , and I'm sure many more friends. You are so Loved. I know it's crap to be out there because I've been there . Even though I got of the streets 8 weeks ago it's so hard to adjust mentally. I sleep with the light on because I'm too scared to sleep if I don't have the light on. Thats part of my PTSD. Hey I'm coming to the living room and I'll stop by on the way and we can have a coffee and a chat. By the way I Love your hair. You are beutiful and never believe on the judgmental society. Hand in there .

    Heartbreaking. I don’t even go into the city anymore because it shouldn’t be acceptable that people have so few options. I worry this could be me. ODD is me too, my son as well. I just had my family staying with us (11 people in the house). Grateful every day for the roof over our head but hate that it’s almost seen as a luxury for too many. It’s so tough for so many of us, doing our best in a world that has become increasingly uncaring. I appreciate seeing a video like this, so real and raw with compassion.

    🥺 I'm houseless living in my car with 3 dogs. I know the hurt of not have anyone in your life, I have NOBODY but my dogs and if I didn't have them I would have given up along time ago. It totally feels like nobody cares if I live or die 😭😭😭 I can't afford housing I'm on disability and 56 and it's so hard! Sending good vibes and prayers MADDIE that you are helped off the streets and your heart isn't so broken anymore...

    So sad, really sad. We are all one second away from ending up on the street, lose your job, can't pay bills or rent, it could happen to all of us. She wants to be heard, and talk to someone, always be nice to people on the way up, because you might meet them on the way down ! Hope she is OK and gets help and support to get her life back on track.

    I live on Collins street in a lane way under a tarp and have been here for 5 years. I used to be a criminal lawyer under Zara Garde Wilson but fell to a serious cocaine addiction. I have a lot of money in the bank but am too used to the street life now unfortunately. It’s all I know. Stay safe out here peeps and don’t give up. See you all around. Cheers, Brad

    Homeless people appreciate money donations so they can buy what they need. Money helps. Give without judgement.
    If you can't offer them help then essentially you are taking from them. There are many homeless videos now but how many actually help these people.
    I put lose change into zip lock bags and take it with me when i go out so i can bless a person in need without judgement if what they might use the money for. Anyone that has been homeless knows how much a bit of money helps.

      I'm going to start something awesome that generates revenue for these people and or organisations who lack in funding and actually need the support, because I'm sure some do amazing work but are under budget and it only goes so far, but if they had the right amenities and programs to support these problems we wouldn't have an issue, U.V.M is starting initiatives that will help people experiencing a crisis in their lives and or people can donate to a cause of their choosing and actually see where their money is going in real time. So great things are going to be happening, it's just getting it all sorted out, finding which organisations or services that actually need the money most.

    You hit on the right question "What are you doing to make your life better?", that is the key. Self improvement is the only way to recover, by focusing on Physical, Financial, & Intellectual goals, they all pay off. Start with Physical, walk everyday, train at a gym, when a person starts taking care of themselves, they take showers after workout, start washing clothes, start looking better and feeling better about themselves, endorphins help the mind & body. Second is financial, when they start to feel better about themselves they will get a job and start improving their lives, their lifestyles, eventually supporting themselves, saving money and building wealth. Intellectual goals are just continuous learning, always learn something new, anything they want, all knowledge is valuable, just keep developing new skills and capabilities. Physical, Financial, & intellectual goals pay off, it is a process that everyone needs to continue for the rest of their lives.

Again I am not sure if you are just being stupid or just don't know anyone effected by PTSD, but people are often much older dealing with these issues, and can be in the 30s to 50s and still need treatment for it.

      @miken7629 Месяц назад

      @@chrisbrown-jw4ce Everyone has to focus on those goals their entire life, they seriously pay off. Physical first, endorphins have a positive effect on the mind, just walking every day for 1 hour (3 miles) is a start, the mind will be thinking and working things out while you walk.

      When you end up on the streets because you can't afford a roof and have no family, drugs seem to be in abundance which trap these poor souls forever... Focus on drugs sure, but I wonder whether you would also take drugs that are readily available knowing that you have no chance of housing or rebuilding your life... I am thankful I have a roof and good job but I will never buy multiple properties because it is limited and any additional house I get traps another person or family into renting and inflating house prices putting it further out of reach for future generations... All I can say is that I can look a homeless person in the eye and give a slight smile as I walk past at the very least...

    I go to school in sunshine and everyday I walk past people who are just trying to get by. I don’t have money or a job and I live in a house of ten so I’m weary of taking from my pantry. I think the worst thing that I’ve done though is that I look down just like everyone else does. I’m so ashamed, especially being someone who had been born into that situation, and I really want to start making a real difference. I’m not sure exactly how but I have an idea and I came across this channel when I started searching for information. Thank you for this.
